Diesmal mit 3G , aber immer noch ohne Kamera.

Hi all,

this is a CM9 KANG built for the GT-P7500 (3G) model.

All credits to the CyanogenMod team and Pershoot, they're the real heroes.
Credits to isimobile as well for the 3G stuff. All you guys are great, keep up the awesome job!

What works:
- 3G
- HW video decoding
- Quite a lot more
- Voice Search (lib and apk from XWKK4 HC build) (see below for download)

Not working:
- Camera
- WiFi tethering

Bugs:
- For auto-brightness to work, lock/unlock the screen once.
- Searching for network providers doesn't work.

How to Install:
Do a FULL WIPE in CWM if coming from another ROM
If coming from any previous version of this ROM, full wipe/cache wipe shouldn't be necessary.
Then, flash in this order:
- ROM
- Gapps
- Kernel modules (optional)
- Voice search fix (optional)
without rebooting between flashes.

Additional Info:
To get 3G working, make sure you have the right APN with the right settings for your network provider selected.
For the most part this is autodetected but sometimes it's not detected properly.

Kernel modules are optional. If you want support for things like nfs, ps3 controllers etc... flash this. You will have to do the modprobing yourself (in a terminal window: first get root access with su, then modprobe <modulename-without-.ko>)
cifs.ko, ntfs.ko and tun.ko got moved into the ROM, no need for modules zip if you just want those.

To get your Tab to show up on your computer when connected via USB, goto Settings -> Storage -> click the three dots in the upper-right corner. Enable MTP or PTP.

Don't flash the kernel from Pershoots thread on this ROM. The latest kernel is included in this ROM already. The one in Pershoots thread is for Honeycomb.

Danke schonmal, werde das sofern ich heute Abend wieder Internet habe ausprobieren.

Das Rom läuft auf meinem 10.1N sehr flüssig!

3G funktioniert einwandfrei, trotz eines Fehlericons (gelbes Dreieck) und nur grau hinterlegtem Statussymbols.
MTB muss nachträglich aktiviert werden

meine meinung zum rom ist auch durchweg positiv. ich kann es schon jetzt für mich als alltagstauglich bezeichnen. auf die kamera kann ich sowieso verzichten - bis auf skype hab ich sie eh nicht genutzt.

ein kleiner minuspunkt geht an den sich noch in der entwicklung befindenden launcher - den habe ich durch den launcherpro plus ersetzt.

also ich habs geflasht und finde es toll!!! sieht schick aus ist viel schneller als 3.2! aber mein 3g umts speed ist eher wie edge/gprs total lahm ist das bei euch auch so?

Ich habe noch die Version vom 24.01. insallt und kann mich über die Geschwindigkeit 3G (Vodafone) nicht beschweren!

Hallo zusammen!

Es sind da ja die ROM, die Kernelmodule und Gapps zu flashen.

Da hätte ich zwei Fragen:

1. Sind die Kernel und Gapps genauso mit "Install from SD- Card" zu flashen und in welcher Reihenfolge?

2. Was sind Gapps?

Bei Ganbarou war es ja nur eine zip. File...

Gapps sind die Google Apps. Ist nur die Abkürzung. Ohne diese kannste kein Account anlegen.

Du flashst alles per Recovery. Erst das ROM, dann die Gapps. Die Kernel-Module brauchste nicht, es sei denn du legst Wert auf das Andongeln eines PS3 Controllers etc. Aber auch diese werden normal geflasht. Sind aber nur optional.
Nicht vergessen vorher nen Nandroid Backup zu machen, nur falls was schief geht. und Fullwipe nicht vergessen.
