Total Commander

Hallo Community!

Nach vielen Monaten im (private) Beta-Status ist die Beta des berühmten Total Commanders für Android nun public und für alle frei zugänglich. Downloadlink und Info's gibt es hier:

Ich durfte von Anfang an beim private Beta-Testen dabei sein und muss sagen - endlich ist er für alle da!
Zum Total Commander brauche ich ja wohl nichts weiter zu sagen. Unter Windows legendär, unter Windows Mobile damals konkurrenzlos und nun auch für Android.

Viel Spaß damit! Die App wird für immer kostenlos und frei von Werbeeinblendungen sein.

UPDATE: Seit heute (19.08.2011) ist die Beta-Phase beendet und es kann der RC bezogen werden, nun unter: Total Commander - Android

• A smartphone or tablet with Android 1.5 or later (tested up to Android 3.1)
• The supported processors are: ARM, X86 (RAR unpacker only available in ARM version)

Benutze ihn auch schon einige Wochen und er ist schon jetzt für mich der beste Filemanager.
Allerdings fehlt noch die Möglichkeit Verknüpfungen von Dateien auf den Homescreen zu setzten so wie es Astra kann.

Kenne mich nicht aus was chmod angeht und konnte auch nichts im WWW dazu finden, ob der TC für Android damit umgehen kann. Ich würde mich evtl. ans offizielle TC-Forum wenden.

chmod = change mode. Ein Linuxbefehl.

Also chmod kann er. Ich find nur keinen weg, die System Partition rw zu setzen.

Erzeuge einen Button mit dem entsprechenden internen Kommando.

permission geht doch:
lang auf Datei drauf -> Eigenschaften
im dann erscheinenden Fenster auf die Pfeile >> neben Benutzerrechte
Haken wie gewünscht setzen -> anwenden.

Bei mir hat der TotalCommander das erste mal noch nach Superuser(root) gefragt.

Hoppla, den Thread hier habe ich ja total übersehen...

Besser spät als nie - geniales Tool, nutze den TC schon seit seiner Vorstellung.

Klasse - der Total Commander bzw. WinCommander ist seit bestimmt mehr als 10 Jahren mein Wndows-Begleiter. Jetzt auch auf Android - super! Gleich mal testen!

Geniales Tool, hat sich bei mir schon damals auf meinen Windows Mobile Phones bewährt und seit geraumer Zeit auf meinen Androids File Expert abgelöst.

Hoffe es ist bald auch im Market verfügbar.
