Wenn ihr nicht sicher seit, was ihr macht, könnt ihr hier gerne Fragen stellen, aber wenn ihr danach immer noch nicht genau wisst, was ihr tut: Lasst es bleiben!

Ersteller und damit alle Credits gehen an das Team EOS!!

Bitte beachten das dies hier die Nightlys sind!! Bedeutet hier gibt es ständig neue Flashfiles die mal mehr oder weniger stabil laufen.....

Kurz zur Installation:
- Zuerst einmal muss euer Xoom gerootet sein und CWM installiert sein ([How-To] Xoom root - Universal root für alle Xoom's!) ... das bedanken beim Ersteller nicht vergessen!
- Dann den aktuellsten ROM downloaden
- auf die Speicherkarte legen und über CWM flashen
- wenn Ihr von Android 3.x kommt wird ein Full Factory Reset zwingend empfohlen!!! Wenn Ihr von einem anderen ROM kommt ist es nicht zwingend notwendig aber zu empfehlen.
- wenn Ihr bereits eine Version von CM9 installiert habt reicht es den Cache zu wipen und den Dalvik Cache zu wipen (beides findet ihr im CWM)
- dann die aktuellsten GApps installieren
- Xoom neu starten und Spass haben

Welcome to the evolution of TiamatXOOM.

With the AOSP release of Android 4.0 begins the next dawn of the Android operating system. And with this release comes Team EOS, the natural evolution of the TiamatXOOM development team.

It is the goal of Team EOS to develop and maintain the highest performing and most stable AOSP based rom for an array of platforms. The launching point for this development effort is the Motorola XOOM.

A quick note on Nightlies: NIGHTLIES ARE DEVELOPMENT BUILDS. They are automatically generated once every 24 hours and represent the compilation of the latest commits to the code repository. While every effort is made ensure that the commits that are accepted are stable and do not have a negative impact to the overall performance and function of the builds it is not possible to test every aspect of a commits impact to the overall repo prior to it’s inclusion in a given build. As a result it is entirely possible that instabilities may be introduced as a result of a given days commits. That is the nature of the nightly system, and the risk that is taken using the latest code changes to the project.

EOS Xoom is an AOSP based rom. It is developed and maintained by Team EOS and is the culmination of our own in house development efforts.

G-Apps Package
Because this is an AOSP based rom Google Apps are not included in the base rom. To install Google Apps please flash the following package after installing the base rom:
Current version is: EOS_GApps_ics_4.0.3_v10.5

*Note - You will need to re-flash G-Apps after you flash an updated nightly build. You can do this before you reboot after the installation of a new nightly.
Also note that if you are coming from an earlier G-Apps package you will need to wipe prior to installation of this package in order to avoid FC issues.

Current Known Issues:
This builds is only for the MZ604 Wingray (WiFi XOOM) It does not support data on any GSM or 3G only Xoom

Because these are nightly builds the included features are constantly evolving. Change logs are generally generated on a daily basis.

Installation Notes:
These builds are designed to be installed from your favorite recovery (Solarnz R4c, Rogue, Clockwork)
Perform a full wipe (read Factory Reset) prior to installing this over ANY Honeycomb based rom (this includes all Tiamat roms)

Please note that due to fundamental changes Google has made to the way Android works there are certain issues that cannot be resolved without additional components from Google and the hardware manufacturers.

So ich dachte es wäre auch einmal an der Zeit das der ROM seinen eigenen Thread verdient hat!!!

Ich persönlich wechsel aktuell dauernd zwischen dem CM9 und dem EOS ROM hin und her... ich kann mich nicht entscheiden ... beide sind bereits sehr gut!!

Ich habe eigentlich ein MZ601 als Xoom Wifi + 3G und nutze diesen ROM halt aktuell ohne 3G. In der Hoffnung das 3G auch bald kommt

Aktuell läuft bei mir Eos-wingray-43 mit den EOS_GApps_ics_4.0.3_v10.3 ....

Zu einer Ungewöhnlichen Zeit aber EOS hat eine neue Version V44... aber keine auffallenden Änderungen auch im UMTS Bereich tut sich nichts!?

danke für den super Beitrag. Endlich kann ich die Changelogs wieder lesen bzw. finde ich diese wieder. Was bedeutet dieser Abschnitt :

das ntfs für Festplatten und 3G integriert werden? Mir ist klar das es sich bei Wingray um die Wifi Version handelt aber vielleicht sind es Vorbereitungen für die Everest Version.

Edit: Vermutlich hat das Anhängsel 3G nichts mit UMTS zu tun.

ich habe gerade meine 1TB NTFS platte gemountet und darauf geschrieben. Für das mounten habe ich lediglich in /mnt einen neuen Mountpoint "usbOTG" angelegt und dann mit dem "usbOTG mass storage watcher" die Platte angebunden.

Ich bin wieder einmal vom Android begeistert.

Wenn ich mir so bei Youtube die ICS Beträge anschaue sieht man bei der Alpha nie UMTS...

Neue Version da V47 (ka warum nicht 45?) und neue UMTS aber könnt ihr euch sparen passiert nichts, also kein 3G oder so^^

Ja zeigt zwar unten Symbol aber mehr auch nicht habe eben mal CM9 drauf. Diese Alpha ist immer noch die erste oder gibt es da Updates?

Aller Anfang ist schwer..... wir sind ja erst bei 6a ...... bei der Wifi sind ja schon viel mehr Versionen da...
