Transfer Blu-ray DVD and Video files onto Droid -- Pavtube Blu-Ray Video Converter Ultimate. The Pavtube Software is currently the best Blu-ray ripping software and surprisingly it can rip both DVDs & Blu-Ray Discs without the need of having a different Undo-Protection program. I have tried many brands of ripping software with poor results. PavTube is a real "Swiss Knife".The optimal droid settings are listed as below.
Video codec: H.264 MP4
Size (resolution): 848*480pix
Bit rate: 2500kbps
Frame rate: 24fps
Audio codec: AAC
Sample rate: 48kHz
Bit rate: 64kbps/ 96kbps/ 128kbps
Channels: Stereo

Step 1: Download, install and launch Pavtube Blu-Ray Video Converter Ultimate
Once run it, click "Add Video" to load your video files like MTS/M2TS, MKV, MOV, TOD, TiVo, etc. and click "Load BD/DVD" to load your DVD and Blu-ray movie files.

Step 2: Select subtitle and audio track
Click pull down menu of "Subtitle" and "Audio" to select your needed subtitle and audio track respectively. The drop-down list will show you all the info clearly, including language and stream ID of subtitle, language, audio codec, audio ID, and audio channel of audio. You can choose one at will, and the preview window will show you the changes in real time.
Step 3: Click the drop-down menu of "Format" to select "Common Video"> "H.264 Video (*.mp4) as output format.

Step 4: Click "Settings" button to optimize video and audio parameters

These settings will let your BD movies display at full screen with great quality without looking distorted or having the audio out of sync issues. If you prefer a smaller file size, just set the video bit rate down to 1500kbps and it will still looks fine on screen.
Step 5: Start Blu-ray ripping for Droid
Once all settings are done, you can click "Convert" button to start Blu-ray ripping. The output MP4 files can be found out via clicking "Open" button effortlessly, what you should do next is uploading the videos from your computer to the memory card of your Droid. Ich benutze zur Video-Konvertierung seit geraumer Zeit XMedia Recode (aktuelle Version: 2.2.5.0) auf meinem PC. Hat ein eigenes Profil für's Milestone (und für Hunderte anderer Geräte, regelmäßige Updates), in dem die erforderlichen Parameter bereits voreingestellt sind. Ist kostenlos, arbeitet einfach, schnell und zuverlässig.

Andere Möglichkeit: VLC Media Player (aktuelle Version: 1.1.1), auch damit lässt sich konvertieren - allerdings habe ich immer noch nicht herausgefunden, wie man das Ergebnis anschließend auch speichert. Ebenfalls kostenlos, spielt so ziemlich alles an Formaten ab, was es gibt (auch recht exotische).

Ich verwende auch lieber XMedia Recode... das hat auch nicht so eine furchtbare Bonbon-Klicki-Bunti-Oberfläche.

XMediaRecode müsste es jetzt nur noch für Linux geben...
Mit dem VLC-Player hab ich so meine Probleme, da ruckelt das Video in der Ausgabedatei immer ziemlich, das Problem hab ich noch nicht beseitigen können...

Ich meinte damit, dass es für mich perfekt wäre wenn es das Programm nicht nur für Windoof sondern auch für Linux geben würde
