Hmm, dann hätte das Gerät eigentlich nur auf Werkszustand zurückgesetzt werden sollen. In dem Fall würde ich einfach den Apple Support kontaktieren, dafür sind die da.

Also ich habe jedenfalls mal in einem anderen Forum nachgelesen. Da hatte eine Dame genau das gleiche Problem mit ihrem Austauschgerät wie Du.

Setz Dich mit dem Apple Support in Verbindung; bei ihr wurde dann in den USA hinter ihrer Seriennummer ein "Carrier Unlocked" Profil hinterlegt. Danach hat sie das Gerät wieder hergestellt und es lief alles.
