[ENGLISH] Open Recovery feedback

Does it work with the old versions of mkyaffs2image and unyaffs? Should so i think? So why not using the old versions of that commands - problem solved :)

i will test later again with a clean system and only root, maybe it works...
but its a little bug, for me its not a problem to root again after restore

Skrilax_CZ: when you put dumb (from your linux dist) in /etc/terminfo/d/ and export TERM=dumb and TERMINFO=/etc/terminfo, it suppresses the use of color codes in nano. So I guess that "only" the implementation of the cursor and CTRL keys divides us from the working nano editor in OpenRecovery console. We might also create a terminfo specific for the OR console...

New script doesn't (I've modified the unyaffs input arguments :) ).

I don't think it will work.

Well don't know what the terminfo variable serves for but the OR console uses pseudoterminal (/dev/pts/x).

So the bug was in unyaffs-or not restoring the permissions correctly (suid / sgid / sticky bit weren't restored) - so that's why root didn't work. Fixed one is in attachment.

thanks for that ;) you make my deams come true :D

Ok, so I hope we got the bugs fixed, so I took a look on the notes:

date and timezones (for manual settings)
- the busybox applet could be patched, having the timezone being overriden int for example /etc/timezone and that having set manually; I'll take a look into it, it shouldn't be difficult

possibly better update.zip (having possibilities like scripts)
- done, I've decided to allow falling back to default "update-binary" if it isn't in the update.zip
- ability to have a normal shell script in the update.zip insteat of "update-binary" and "updater-script" and it have the same options as script from menu (that is interactive menu)

charging in OR
- this will take some time, so not in this release

dos2unix scripts in scripts folder
- done

switch files (.nobashcolors ...) not in /bin, but in /etc
- done

ability to clear the screen in script output / console
- in console, this requires the support for escape characters to use the busybox applet clear
- as for script output, this would have to be special call; but you can echo several empty lines so the text leaves the screen

On a new (Auf ein neues :D)

I haven't encountered a problem like that at all. Even without the "OpenRecovery" folder on the sdcard it doesn't hang (it just prints the text without doing anything). Try error check the sdcard and reinstal OpenRecovery.

:D unbelivable! I did a full SBF, formatted my SD card, wiped.... it still doesn't work :D This OR really hates me :D
