Hardreset nach Downgrade

Ich verstehe es nicht so ganz.

Ich flashe die update.zip von der SD, soweit klar, jetzt habe ich ein instabiles 3.0 Honeycomb, dort kann ich jetzt rooten und ein recovery aufspielen, womit ich ein neues Custom-ROM flashen kann.

Was soll diese Aussage mit dem Hardreset:

4. After flashing is finished you'll have unstable Honeycomb 3.0.1 - gives errors and crashes but you only need it to root and install CWM. If it fails to boot try to hard reset your device *.

* How to hard reset your Iconia A500

1. Turn off your tablet
2. Place the screen lock button on the left (red not visible)
3. Hold Volume UP + Power button
4. After the vibration, release the power button and toggle the screen switch few times left-right until you see the following lines appear on the screen

Oder muss ich das Hardreset noch im flashmodus vollziehen?

Kann mir denn keiner helfen was damit gemeint ist, habe eigentlich schon viel gerootet, doch ich möchte ehrlich gesagt nichts kaputt machen.

So wie ich das lese kann ich HC 3.01 starten, dann rooten und dann muss ich das Hardreset ausführen?

Unlocken,
Power + Lautstärke bis nach der Vibration, und dann das Gerät links rechts, links rechts,.......... kippen?

Steht doch eigentlich klar in dem von Dir gepasteten Text: "If it fails to boot try to hard reset your device". Also nur, wenn sich das Tab aufhängt und nicht mehr bootet, sollst Du es mit dem Hard Reset probieren.
