Installierter Kernel und neue (andere) ROM flashen:

Full Wipe
danach die Boot.img von der ROM
(der vorher installierte Kernel wird dadurch aufgehoben)
danach die ROM

und dann den neuen (falls) gewünschten Kernel nach Anleitung.

Kann ich nich bestätigen, sweep2wake funzt bei mir super und kein Absturz bisher.

PS: Full Wipe is immernoch quatsch.

So, grade wieder runtergeschmissen. Schlimmer Kernel..

Meine Kamera ist immer wieder abgestürzt und beim Entsperren hat das Handy heute dermaßen oft neu booten müssen..

Ansich läuft der Kernel bei mir gut, keinerlei Probleme. Allerdings hällt der Akku nich solange wie beim Stock Kernel. Hatte jetzt mein One X 14 Std von 100 % - 0 % bei 2 Std Screen on mit Datenverbindung aktiv. Da schaffe ich mit dem Stock Kernel mehr. (mind. 3 std Screen on).

p.s. ich habe die InsertCoin Rom drauf

Würd mich auch interessieren..speziell das underclocking..
Da sollt doch richtig Akkuzeit bei Vollast rausspringen, wenn man auf nur 4x 1gHz oder gar 4x 800mHz taktet. Performencemäßig sollte das immer noch Dicke reichen..

This is a 1.29.401.7 ramdisk so you'll most likely have to repack it if you're running a 1.29.401.11 rom, so don't bother crying at me for non-booting issues.

Meine frage wäre muss ich die ältere versionen vorher installieren oder reicht es wenn ich nur die version r6 drauf installiere?
und was sind die module muss ich die auch drauf installieren

Ich bin ja schwer in Versuchung ihn zu testen..
Auf dem Galaxy Nexus war sein Kernel ne Wucht, aber das kann man ja leider nie 1:1 auf andere Geräte übertragen.


Was mir grad auffällt..

Beim franco r7 sinds nur 18 Module.
Bei Stock, faux, bricked, kholk sind 30/31 Module..

ich weiß ich nerve hier schon mit der frage
aber was bringt ein kernel?
und muss man dazu das modul drauf kopieren oder reicht einfach der kernel und was sind die vorteile zu den stock kernel
bin auch am uberlegen ob ich es installieren soll ich besitze die insertcoin rom 6.3.1.
danke im vorraus und sorry das ich mit der selbe frage wieder nerve,verstehe das halt nicht

Hi, deine Frage wurde im anderen Thread bereits beantwortet, wo du auch dieselbe Frage gestellt hast - ich weiß jetzt nicht mehr wo - in einem der ROM-Threads auf alle Fälle.

Allerdings findest du hier eine genaue Beschreibung für den Sinn und Zweck eines Kernels, und den Modulen.
