Was? Es sind keine Berichte über Instabilitäten in den letzten Wochen bekannt.

Zumindest nicht mit offiziellem CM. RR ist ja "eigener Luxus"...

Das ist nicht auf deinen Kernel sondern auf RR bezogen... Wie du ja sagst, eigener Luxus.

Ich bin auch weiterhin "Fan" vom Boeffla-Kernel, allerdings habe ich in den letzten Wochen festgestellt, dass mein S5 mit ResurrectionRemix mit dem Standard-Kernel besser läuft. Ausschlaggebend war für mich der niedrigere Akkuverbrauch. Dein Kernel is ja nicht auf RR optimiert, von daher fahr ich derzeit mit dem, auf das Device angepassten, Standard-Kernel besser.

Das mag gut sein.
Auch wenn der Kernel auf den Akkuverbrauch nicht wirklich viel Einfluss hat (es sei denn er hat einen groben Fehler).

Kann aber schon sein, dass RR da wieder eigene Dinge gedreht hat, welche mit dem gelieferten Kernel besser laufen. Who knows. Das ist halt alles Black Box, drum bin ich so gegen diese Customizeden Custom Roms

  If you use custom roms like Resurrection Remix, Blisspop etc. you have to carefully check if you need still version 3.2 stable as custom roms are usually updated with slower pace
• Update: Updated with latest official CM kernel commits as of 17.10.16, 8am CET
• Fix: Add forgotten functionality to overwrite CPU frequencies when not using Boeffla-Config (not recommended)
• Change: Removed compiler flag not required anymore

Hier noch eine kleine Anmerkung: Wenn man aktuelle supersu Versionen flashed z.b. 2.78 sr2, wird der kernel auf eine vorherige Version zurückgesetzt..Bitte beachten, muss man dann neu flashen...

Wie schon beschrieben, das tritt mit allen Supersu Versionen auf und ist so von den Supersu Entwicklern gewollt.

Es gibt 2 neue Builds für CM13.0, allerdings neigt sich die Entwicklung für unser S5 leider dem Ende zu..

the most probably last CM13 kernel is out now.
So finally we have a stable and final version for CM13. This means - the kernel is now officially end-of-life, out of support etc.
I might only update it to a new stable again if some important security patch is required one day.

Was allerdings ein wenig Hoffnung gibt ist die Roadmap auf seiner Homepage:

CM14 under investigation, decision pending

Für meinen Geschmack läuft CM14.1 ohnehin noch nicht so wirklich rund im Vergleich zu CM13.0, die Entwicklung ist hier noch ganz am Anfang und je nachdem wie sie vorankommt wird es vielleicht doch noch etwas, oder eben nicht, we will see

So here we go for a very first beta of the CM14.1 S5 Boeffla-Kernel:

• First official beta version - expect bugs from both kernel and also rom, CM14.1 is still very fresh and as a normal consequence full of issues
• Note: This kernel only runs on official CM14.1 for the international Galaxy S5 g900f - nothing else !!!
• Note: You need at least version 2.4.16 of Boeffla-Config V2 to allow all functionalities to be available
  
• All functionalities included as in latest CM13.0 Boeffla-Kernel 3.3
• Based on official CM kernel source repo as of 16.11.2016, 8am CET

This kernel will NOT work on CM13.x, CM12.x, CM11 or Samsung stock roms !!!
It will work only on CM14.x based roms.

Note: This kernel will not receive new features anymore (see road map on www.boeffla.de), but I will keep it compatible to CM14.1 development.

Noch was von Andi,

the time has come for the Samsung Android MM Stock kernel to become a last, stable and final version now.
Do not expect any more updates on this stock kernel anymore, unless important security fixes would force me to compile a new stable. But this kernel is now officially done and end-of-life (soon also in EOL download section on www.boeffla.de).

Die Zeit ist gekommen um endgültig eine letzte, stabile Version für Android MM zu veröffentlichen. Erwartet also in Zukunft keine weiteren Updates dieses Kernels, es sei denn wichtige Sicherheitsupdates zwingen mich dazu, eine weitere Version zu kompilieren

Dieser Kernel ist nun endgültig fertig und End-of-Life. Demnächst auch in der EOL Download-Section auf www.boeffle.de
