Milestone DE 2.0.1 Update vor 30 Min (=> scheinbar eine Fehlinformation)

Also bisher kam bei meinem Gerät (kein Branding) immer, das es sich nicht mit dem Updateserver verbinden kann.

Jetzt kommt, das mein System auf dem neusten Stand ist (2.0).

Ist schonmal ein Fortschritt ;)

heute ist mein system auf dem neuesten Stand. Scheint wirklich los zugehen.

was Frankreich betrifft bin ich leider nicht aussagekräftig, in den USA hat das Droid 2.0.1 die letzten user wohl erst nach 1-2Wochen erreicht (aber da sind natürlich auch mehr Droiden zu beliefern gewesen - nicht steinigen, ich hab weder die Verkaufszahlen noch die genauen update-prozesse in erinnerung)

übrigens meldet mein stein (VF) jetzt dass mein system auf dem neusten stand sei, heute früh beim mittlerweile zur routine gewordenen check, konnte noch nicht mit dem server verbunden werden - irgendwas müsste also im busch sein. korrigiert mich bitte wenn ich dies falsch deute.

und lasst mir den Dennis in ruhe, obwohl ein pic/vid natürlich alle Gerüchte um etwaige trolligkeiten beseiten würde ;)

Mein System war kurzzeitig schon vor 4 Wochen auf dem neusten Stand.
Hat also nix zu bedeuten :)
 
also was ich mal sagen muss:

es hat bei mir immer EWIG gedauert von der abfrage nach updates bis zur meldung, dass der server nicht erreicht werden kann.

heute habe ich die meldung bekommen, dass mein stein auf dem neuesten stand sei..hat aber auch ewig gedauert.

mittlerweile, drücke ich den "auf updates prüfen" button und innerhalb von vll2sekunden bringt er die meldung dass er auf dem neuesten stand ist!

todes, vll gehts ja echt bald!

und übrigens, iwer wird schon uppen, so dass wir bald alle zügig das update haben...ob mit oder ohne OTA
 
Bisher kam bei mir auch immer die Meldung, dass keine Verbindung zum Server möglich sei; nun heißt es: system auf dem neusten stand. Scheint also was zu passieren.
 
@DennisG1: Mach doch bitte mal ein Screenshot / Foto von der Telefoninfo.

Kann es im Moment noch nicht ganz glauben, auch wenn andere Quellen berichten dass das Update quasi in den Startlöchern ist.

Laut Motorola im Facebook sollen wir uns bis morgen gedulden... könnte also wirklich mal was passieren.

Hatte er ja eigentlich auch vor - bis die netten Kollegen ihn wohl vergrault haben. Die konnten es wohl nicht fassen, daß nicht sie als erste das Update bekamen...


PS: bin mal gespannt, wie viele Seiten dieser Thread um Mitternacht haben wird...

Da schließ ich jetzt mal drauß, dass es Mittwoch 03.02.10 neue Infos oder vielleicht sogar auch das langersehnte Update gibt. Nur noch 1x schlafen :)

For custom ROMs, we’ve relayed your feedback and requests to our internal product teams and will continue to do so. We’re not sure what the response will be, but we want to be clear that we frequently share your feedback and requests with the proper internal channels, and appreciate your input.
As for Moto Pic Monday, we’re sorry that this post seemed insensitive to some Milestone owners experiencing difficulty with the camera focus – we dislike fuzzy photos as much as you do and we’re working on that. For those who shared a nice picture, thank you. For those who shared a blurry shot, duly noted.
We also want to know what you’d like to see on our page aside from news/updates on the topics above. We have a diverse group of people in our growing community, and we want to make sure to provide you all with the content and information you’re looking for.
Please keep your questions/comments coming – we’re here to help (and we’re not just saying that- we really mean it). We know we have to work harder to keep you informed and happy – we’ll continue to take your feedback and look to improve our page and service.

2.0.1 gibt es doch schon mit root hier im forum mit super anleitung!

was ist denn da anders?als bei der root version auser das man root hat?
 
sag ich doch auch... also ich vermute mal das morgen das update kommt.

das sind alle zufrieden.... und am 04.02 kommt die werbung... die milestone besitzer werden gefragt wie das ding den so ist... und alle so "yeeeaaaaah" ;-)

das hat motorola aber mal geschickt eingefädelt... niemand wird ab morgen meckern.

ah ok, habs grad auch gelesen..habe heute morgen fast die gleiche stellungnahme gelesen und da stand drin

"earlier this week"!

das heisst sie haben jez ihre aussage dahingehend verändert, dass sie endlihc nen termin genannt haben!!
 
Ich denk mal, das Update am 03.02.10 ist schon realistisch. Denn wenn am 04.02.10 die große Werbekampagne anläuft und viele neue Milestone-Besitzer mit alten Problemen zu kämpfen haben, stellt sich Motorola damit nicht gerade ins optimale Licht. Also einfach mal abwarten, jetzt kommt´s auf den einen Tag auch nicht mehr an.

HOPFEFULLY - wie immer (die Predigt kann ich mir sparen) SCHAETZE ich das das der angepeilte Termin ist, an dem alle Approvals vorliegen. HOPEFULLY hier bedeuted, "wenn alles klappt".

Ich SCHAETZE das wurde dann revidiert, damit nicht um 00.01 am Mittwoch alle rumheulen wo die Infos sind :) Und denkt dran - google OK kommt aus USA (also 7 Stunden zurueck), und Provider OK aus DE. Ich RECHNE also nicht damit das morgen etwas kommt, zumindests nicht morgens/mittags.

AUCH HIER - NUR MEINE PERSOENLICHE EINSCHAETZUNG, keine "insider details".

Ja aber mal im Ernst. Sagt hier das er das Update hat. ISt gerade online, hat scheinbar zeit (es kam ja noch ein post) aber kann nicht eben in 2 Minuten den Screenshot uppen ?

Da muss man sich einfach nich wunder, wenn einige denken man lügt.
 
Da war der thyrus schneller ... mein wlan is aber auch lahm heut, ich wollt grade sagen, dass da nur steht das es hoffentlich am 03.02. Infos geben wird, von "update kommt am 03.02." Steht/stand da nirgends was
