Das hier soll der Download & Info Thread zu "The FroyoMOD" von 89luca89 von XDA Developers sein.

Info:
Dieses Rom basiert auf den offiziellen AOSP Sources in Verbindung mit den proprietären Teilen des Systems ( signierter Kernel), die der Bootloader vorraussetzt.

Weitere Infos bitte der Quelle entnehmen. Ich editier hier noch ne Übersetzung rein, wenn ich Zeit hab.

NOW will be flashed automatically the bpsw.img devtree.img!

Adjusted the overclocking to improve battery consumption ... (maybe remove the overclocking version of the prox)

Anleitung:

1. Zip-Datei Runterladen
2. OpenRecovery installieren (Ich empfehle Androidiani.)
3. Zip-Datei in den Ordner /OpenRecovery/updates kopieren
4. Full Wipe machen. Dazu im OpenRecovery "Wipe Dalvik", "Wipe Cache" und "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" auswählen.
5. Über OpenRecovery flashen (Menüeintrag heißt "Apply Update")

Many of you may have different tastes regarding keyboards, so I decided to provide you some alternatives

HTC Sense keyboard with fully working voice commands!

Of the 4 keyboards, Motorola and HTC one have Prediction test ALSO ON HW KEYBOARD;
On HTC you have to "tap" on where you want to write before starting typing if you want predicition to work, motorola have ONLY HISPANIC AND ENGLISH DICITONARIES!

OVERCLOCKS

As I read many times that maybe someone want to save battery, another want to have lighting speed, and another one have FCs caused by the overclock...i decided to provide you several possibilities:

550/400/350/250/125mhz Normal voltage

700-500-400-350-250mhz Normal voltage

800-500-400-350-250Mhz Normal Voltage

900-600-500-350-250Mhz Normal Voltage

1100-800-550-350-250Mhz Normal Voltage--> For HIGH PERFORMANCES!

550-400-350-250-125mhz Ultra Low Voltage

700-500-400-350-250Mhz Ultra Low Voltage

800-500-400-350-250mhz Ultra low Voltage

900-600-500-350-250Mhz Ultra Low Voltage

The Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) packs are for anyone want to have high performance with lower battery impact! BUT WARNING! NOT ALL PROCESSORS CAN HANDLE THOSE VOLTAGES!

So in case:
Overclock_1000-750-500-350-250.zip
This is the one used by default in the Rom

SYSTEM APPLICATIONS
To make more room in /system partition, I had to remove the swithcable apps via "froyomod extras", so I will give you the choice via this post:

Launcher 2D
This have automatic rotation and 7 homescreens

Launcher 3D
Have 7 screens enabled, is used by default in the Rom!

Honeycomb Music
This beautiful player is by default included in the ROM!

Music MOD
This is the Music Mod, provided also in Cyanogen and in many other mods, have a LOT of features and good loking widgets!

Music Stock
This is the stock Music player in official Froyo by MOTO, this have the particularity to use the "Now Playing" screen as lockscreen during the media playing!

STOCK PHONE
This is the Stock Moto Phone.apk, it has Crystal Talk and works 100% well
BUT:
Has some glitches caused by the fact that it's not tought for an AOSP framework, so if you want Crystal talk you have to live with them!

Phone MOD
Used by default in the rom, A LOT of features, it's here if you want to revert back

Gallery 2D
This is the new gallery 2D introduced while ago, based on QuickPic and with blazing velocity

Gallery 3D
This one is an all-new gallery 3D, faster and with MOTION GESTURES:
You can ENABLE/DISABLE IT BY PRESSING VOL-DOWN;
PULL CELL DOWN TO ZOOM IN, UP TO ZOOM OUT
TILT LEFT/RIGHT TO SCROLL THE PHOTOS!

FIXES

By default, Froyomod 2.7.0 has DSI FIX enabled BUT:
It will make the phone a little slower in the scrolling and graphic performances, and can create some screen tearing in long scrolling and some other gliches

if you DO NOT want to live with them:
REMOVE FIX DSI

So you will have DSI errors and kernel panic (that are rare but present with arabic kernel) but better performances overall

If you want to Reapply it:
FIX DSI ERRORS

Fixed Over 100% charging with 1% steps (showing 109% for example) Thx to kabaldan!

Reworked Power widget, Icons are now able to be of any dimension and shape (rectangoular or square), removed toggle in the botto, this will be parts of future icons, so it can be easly themable
removed the scrollbar and overscroll in power widget scrolling.

Hinweis:

Bei der o.a. Version kommt es oft vor, dass der Screen nicht total abschaltet und ein schwaches Grund-Leuchten besteht (im abgedunkelten Raum erkennbar). Dafür gibt es folgenden Fix:
