Habe meiner Freundin Omegarom V39 mit Full Wipe aufgespielt. Leider schaltet sich das Handy von Zeit zu Zeit immer wieder selbst aus (ohne Vorwarnung). Hat das vielleicht noch jemand und gibt es ne Möglichkeit das Problem einzugrenzen (crashlog)?
Kriege nämlich schön langsam Ärger :sad:

leider ist das Omega Rom schon etwas veraltet und wird anscheinend nicht mehr weiter entwickelt (jedenfalls kommt es mir so vor). Hatte auch Probleme mit dem Akkus bei der Omega Rom. Bin jetzt seit längerer Zeit schon auf die
Echoe Rom S5 Port umgestiegen und finde die einfach klasse. :thumbsup:

Aktuell 'S4 Echoe v39.1 S5 Port Part XIII' schau mal hier im Forum.

Es gibt ein Script was das Handy richtig aufräumt. Suche mal danach hat bei mir auch geholfen als ich reboots hatte. Full wipe hilft nicht immer..

Ich hatte das dann im Thread zum talexop Kernel gefragt und von Mr. Talexop Hilfestellung erhalten, so dass ich das Problem lösen konnte.
Lag wohl am busybox. Möglicherweise hatte ich das gar nicht explizit installiert.
Jetzt geht es jedenfalls.
Als generellen Tipp kann ich noch sagen: mit etwas spezielleren Problemen wendet man sich besser direkt an den original Thread im XDA Forum zu Omega, da kriegt man schnell Antworten.

Please read the following before flashing:

knox:
The new Omega is based on Samsung Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat firmware and it needs the new bootloader to work.
This mean the knox will be triggered and your warranty will be void, more info:
All you wanted to know about KNOX Void Warranty 0×1

Installation:
1. Backup your device (nadroid backup, titanium backup, efs backup ... etc) and save the backup to a safe place.
2. Flash the new bootloder and modems with odin
Bootloader -> BL_I9505XXUFNAD_481100_REV06_user_low_ship_MULTI_C ERT.tar.md5
If you already have the new Kit Kat bootloader there is no need to flash it again.
Modems XXUFNC9 -> I9505XXUFNC9_GSM_LTE_Modems.tar
Power off device completely, then boot to download mode and flash bootloader (if needed) and modems with odin
Then boot to android and check if the new modem XXUFNC9 flashed ok (if wifi is not working is normal)
3. Boot to Recovery --recommended TWRP, get the latest version from here -> TeamWin Projects - TWRP 2.8 - Samsung Galaxy S4 (i9505) | TeamWin--
and flash Omega and then boot to android.
You can flash without full wipe if you are coming from a previous Omega Kit Kat version, if not then flash with full wipe
If you flash with No Full Wipe then you will get FC "android.process.acore", to fix this follow the easy guide from @ch061441 from this post or the guide form @Darkwing_X at this post

EDIT: Its reported that current 4.4.2 versions are working with the old bootloader

PLEASE FOLLOW THE EASY INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ELSE YOU WILL HAVE VARIOUS ISSUES!

SuperSu:
Opens SuperSu and update SU binary, then choose normal and reboot device.

csc:
Multi csc included in Omega

Remove bloatware:
You can remove all bloatware during Omegas installation

Schon jemand Erfahrung gesammelt mit der 40?
Lohnt sich das upzudaten (von der 39) oder ändert das nichts?

Übrigens ist der Download mit der Pro App auch nicht gerade besser. Das bricht immer wieder ab und schnell ist es auch nicht.

EDIT 2015-01-12: Habe es jetzt drauf und merke bisher keinen Unterschied.

Kleiner bug bezüglich s-health in der 40er Version, ansonsten wie immer wunderbar:
Das s-health app möchte nach erstmaligem Start ein update durchführen, dies klappt nur, wenn ihr im Aroma-Installer "Samsung-Apps" und "Samsung-Update" mitinstalliert. (kann auch sein, dass eine der beiden apps ausreicht).

Ich habe insgesamt 6 mal gespendet für einige Omegas, die ich runterlud über Indie's Downloadlinks. Nichts geht schneller durch eine Spende. Aber ein gutes Gefühl hat man, das gebe ich zu.

ich glaube es war auch nicht das "Spenden" gemeint, sondern der Kauf der Omega Pro im PlayStore.

Lade immer mit dieser App und es geht sehr flott (über WLAN) ....
