Wir haben es getestet und für besser befunden, als alle bisherigen, aber auch das ND3 ist durchaus ok.

Wenn ich mit Titanium Backup (hatte es noch nie so richtig benutzt) Systemdateien und Benutzerdateien sichere (also quasi alles) und dann die 4.4.2 flashe und das wiederherstelle, geht das so ohne probleme, nicht das es probleme mit den "Systemdateien" gibt, da es ein aktuelleres Android ist, oder habe ich da nur nen Denkfehler drinne?

Please read the following before flashing v28:
Bootloader - Knox:
Omega does not include bootloader and will not change your knox warranty status.
Backup:
Backup your device (nadroid backup, titanium backup, efs backup ... etc), in case you ever need to restore!
Wipe:
Full wipe is needed if you are coming from another rom or stock firmware or Omega with another android version
and format of internal sdcard is needed if you are coming from Android 4.1.2 because updating to Android 4.3 will change the location of your internal sdcard
Installation Instructions:
Boot to recovery and flash Omega v28
Done, Reboot and enjoy kit kat Omega
NOTICE: If you are having the old bootloader WiFi will not work, flash this Fix N7100_wifi_fix_for_old_bootloader.tar file with odin. Credits to dr.ketan for the WiFi Fix
If you are using the new bootloader you do not need to flash this fix, WiFi will work.
To check your bootloader go to download mode and if you have an entry: KNOX WARRANTY VOID then you are having the new bootloader.

Her Leute,
Habe versucht mir die v29 der Omega Rom für das Galaxy Note 2 zu flashen. Dies funktioniert auch einwandfrei, doch wenn ich versuche zu booten wird mir ne halbe Stunde das Boot Logo angezeigt und dann geht er zurück ins recovery. Hoffe jemand kann mir helfen.

um dir zu helfen, sind auf jeden Fall weitere Infos unerlässlich. Welche Recovery (auch Version) wurde verwendet? Wie wurde gewiped?

Moin Moin kellhogs,
genau dasselbe Problem hatte ich mit der Philz Recovery auch. Bin dann auf die aktuelle TWRP umgestiegen. Hat sofort geklappt.

Jo kein Problem
Recovery benutze ich Philz Touch v5 und gewiped habe ich auch über das recovery mit der Funktion clean to install a New Rom und den davilik Cache habe ich dann auch noch gewiped.

Philz 5 ist für die neuen KitKat-Roms nicht mehr geeignet. 6.25+ sollte es schon sein.

Ja aber bei philz 6 gibs nen bug mit dem aroma installer das der immer abschmiert /:

Kann ich nicht bestätigen, verwende seit Wochen 6.25+ und zuletzt 6.41.6, mit dem sogar alte JB Aroma Roms funktionieren, für die Philz 5 empfohlen wird. TWRP neuerer Provenienz sollte ebenfalls erwogen werden.
