Root-Zugriff für Motorola Droid (Milestone)

Hallo zusammen,

früher oder später wird es Root-Zugriff für das Motorola Milestone geben, daran hege ich keinen Zweifel. Jüngst ist eine Anleitung zum rooten des amerikanischen Ablegers "Droid" aufgetaucht. Der Root-Zugriff wird über einen Exploits, also einer Art Sicherheitslücke erreicht.

Rename to “update.zip” and copy to the sdcard
Power off the DROID and power back on while holding the X key
When you see a “/!\” symbol, press both vol+ and camera
Use the onscreen menu to install update.zip
Once installed you will be able to run “su” from your adb shell.

Leider funktioniert diese Anleitung nicht beim deutschen Motorola Milestone. Langfristig dürfen wir uns jedoch über Custom-Roms und eine interessante Modding-Szene zum Milestone freuen.
