TP8-1200QC - Android KitKat - Testversion

You have to load the matching kernel module (driver) for your specific camera hardware in order to get it to work. Copying modules from another ROM image might work only if both images run the same kernel version compiled with the same compiler flags. I doubt that the atcnetz image contains a compatible kernel, thus simply copying module object files won't work. But maybe hapee can compile the matching modules for both types of camera that were built into the tablet (2mpx and 5mpx) and put it into the upcoming release? Best regards!

Du musst das passenden Kernelmodul (Treiber) laden, um deine spezielle Kamera zum Laufen zu bringen. Einfaches Kopieren von Modulen aus einem anderen ROM klappt nur wenn beide ROMs die selbe Kernelversion nutzen und mit den selben Compilerflags übersetzt wurden. Ich zweifle an, dass das atcnetz-Image einen kompatiblen Kernel beinhaltet, daher wird einfaches Kopieren der object files nicht funktionieren. Aver vielleicht kann hapee ja die passenden Module für beide Arten von Kameras übersetzen, die im ionik enthalten sind (2mpx und 5pmx), und diese dann ins nächste Release einbauen. Betse Grüße

I think you missed one point: if to hardware components are identical, a module still can be incompatible. Even if you habe two rom images for the same tablet, the modules still can be incompatible, because a module must not only match the hardware, but also the compiled kernel version. A rom for the ionik with a kernel from android 4.2.2 has a version of a cam module being incompatible to a rom for the ionik with a kernel from android 4.4. You won't succeed to get the cam running by simply copying files; hapee needs to compile the matching cam module into his kernel and release the binary.

Die alten Kamera Treiber werden nicht mehr unterstützt, da ich ein neues Video Modul benutze. Deshalb muss ich ov5640.ko neu erstellen. Ist aber kein Problem.
Nur der Treiber alleine reicht nicht, es muss auch diese Kamera in die sys_config.fex eingetragen werden. Das würde bedeuten, ich müsste dir eine neue firmware für dein Tablet erstellen.

Und noch einmal möchte ich Ihnen für die Firmware zu danken. Die Tablette arbeitet immer noch ohne Ausfälle, nicht friert und zufällige Neustarts (wie bisher). Ich kann Videos ansehen, im Internet surfen, verwenden die verschiedenen Programme und hatte keine Probleme.

Zwar gibt es Probleme mit den Programmen von Google. "Google Chrome" nach der Aktualisierung auf die neue Version, startet nicht (habe ich installiert "UC Browser", es mir, noch mehr mochte). also dein ROM ist echt klasse. Läuft jetzt 12 Tage wie eine eins.
Kein Vergleich zum Stock 4.2.2! Das wurde mit der Zeit immer träger.
Viel Platz, apps laufen auf der ext. SD-Karte, wie z.B. Nokia Here (da fehlt nur noch BlueTooth zum anbinden an einen externen GPS-Receiver). Durch root sind die SD-KitKat Schwächen zum Glück nicht mehr vorhanden.
Auch der Akku hält meiner Meinung nach recht lange (läuft ja schließlich auf 1.2GHz).
Freue mich schon auf das nächste Release!

Für dein ICOU8GS ein Kamera-Treiber und Kamera-Erkennung ist installiert. Nicht getestet.

Hi ich habe diese Version Installiert, leider habe ich das Problem das ich nur 2GB zum Installieren für APP´s habe, die restlichen 10GB sind als SD-Card Verfügbar. Leider kann man nicht alle APP´s verschieben und nun ist der 2GB Speicher voll und ich kann nichts mehr Installieren.

Kann man diese 2 Speicher zusammen legen das man 12GB speicher zur Verfügung hat.
