Mit dem Hotspot wäre ja wieder über WLan. Da gibt es ja dann kein Update.

Ich habe das jetzt mal mit aLogcat ausprobiert. Danke für den Tipp.

Ansonsten steht über verschiedene / mehrer Zeilen verteilt das gleiche wie in der Update-Meldung. Also die größe der Datei samt dem Text über die Performence usw.

Scheint also doch von htc zu sein. Also wohl doch ein Systemfehler?

Kannst du mal das ganze LogCat posten (gern auch per PN). Der Teil mit dem Data_Uri interessiert mich besonders

Bei den bisherigen OTA-Updates stand die neue Versionsnummer aber mit dabei.

Natürlich besteht wenn Du einen Hotspot einrichtet noch eine 3G Verbindung über die das Desire Internet bezieht. Welche Verbindung solle sonst auch mit dem PC geteilt werden.

Also, wie oben schon beschrieben, es handelt sich um die Version 2.29.405.7 - kA wo die herkommt, aber sie scheint offiziell. Ich lasse gerade die 2.29.405.5er RUU mit dem OTA patchen und schau mal was herauskommt.
Evtl. bau ich dann auch gleich noch eine pre-rooted 2.29.405.7 :smile:

EDIT: Es ist schonma kein neuer HBOOT enthalten, kein neues RADIO, Recovery ist wieder drin, was die restlichen Anpassungen sehr schmal macht. Wenn ich mehr weiß, editiere ich es hier dazu.

Dann warte ich noch mal ab. Finde es aber trotzdem witzig das das Update nur über 3G gemeldet wird und nicht über WLan.
Aber egal. Hauptsache das Update ist echt.

Ja, das finde ich auch merkwürdig. Selbst, wenn ich den Request von dir (den du ja freundlicherweise gepostet hast) mit dem FOTA-Fetcher simuliere, bekomme ich die FW nicht :huh:

Weiterer EDIT: Upload einer Pre-Rooted-Variante läuft. Ich werde es dann mal flashen und schauen :smile:

Der erste Boot sieht schonmal gut aus, weiteres dann morgen.

laut deinem geposteten Forumbeitrag soll das ein Update auf Android 2.2.2 sein...vielleicht kannst du das unter den Softwareinformationen bestätigen...

Hallo und guten morgen,

kann mir jemand sagen wie ich das Update installiere? Wenn ich Installieren sage bootet das Handy neu und steht dann im Clockmod Modus oderso ähnlich. Und da gehts dann nicht weiter.

Wenn du das OTA-Update meinst:

Wenn du das von mir verlinkte Custom-ROM meinst:
So wie jedes andere ROM auch.

EDIT: Da das Interesse an dem Update doch eher latent nicht vorhanden war - habe ich wieder mein vorheriges System geflasht. Wer also noch Details dazu wissen möchte, die man nur im laufenden Betrieb ermitteln kann -> Selber updaten macht schlau
