Auch bei mir läuft es mit den richtigen Einstellungen sehr gut.

Was sind die richtigen Einstellungen???

Also ich habe die original SD mit FAT32 formatiert und eine EXT3 partition und dann das Swapper-Programm auf Swap size 32MB - Swappiness 60 eingestellt.
Dazu noch SetCPU auf Max 528Mhz und Min 245Mhz.
