All,

First things first:

This is a VERY EARLY ALPHA. It's been ported over from the latest CDMA Sprint Hero, and it's being referred to as a FINAL test build.

NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE INSTALLING


DO NOT FLASH THIS ROM EXPECTING IT TO BE COMPLETE. I'M WELL AWARE THAT IT ISN'T.

Who should flash this ROM?

- Anyone willing to help find all of the bugs/not working HW.
- Any developers looking to help

Definitely Working/Current Features:

- Calls in and out
- EXTREMELY FAST
- Data Connection
- Network Location
- Automatic Brightness
- All apps in market
- Very interesting 2.1 Rosie layout (I don't know if the guys over on the CDMA forums themed this or not...)
- All 2.1 Goodies expected (Friendstream etc)

Known Bugs right now:

- WIFI DEFINITELY DOES NOT WORK
- Graphical glitch when sending contact types

GPS & Bluetooth are untested


I am currently working on the fixes for this ROM. If you're a developer and find the fixes, please contact me...

So ich habs seit ner Stunde am laufen und der erste Eindruck ist sehr gut

Es ist schnell, stabil und sieht auch ganz nett aus.

Es ist ein komplett englisches Rom, mit Morelocale 2 wird daraus ein wunderhübsches denglisches Rom ....

... nee mal im ernst , mit MoreLocale stellt sich dir Tastatur auf qwertz um und die ganzen Pop-Ups sind deutsch, der rest wie Programm-Verknüpfungen und Sense bleiben komplett englisch

BT nich getestet ( ich verwende es nicht)

Akkulaufzeit wird sich zeigen ... werde ich morgen ausgiebig testen

bis jetzt noch keine Freezes oder FC´s


Alles in allem das beste 2.1 Custom was ich bis jetzt drauf hatte, bis das offizielle kommt auf jedenfall ne gute Alternative.

nach dem Flashen geht gps nicht ....

....unter settings -> Location -> Use GPS satellites Haken rein ,

dann Hero ausschalten und wieder einschalten

Nein nur einmal dann gehts .... muss halt sehn wie stark es sich auf den Akku auswirkt, weil er in den älteren Builts immer sehr drunter gelitten hat

Grad getestet ...besteht noch ... mist aber auch .... soll aber heut noch gefixt werden


werde erstmal wieder zurück aufs MCR 3.2 gehen bis der Bug gefixt ist

Villain Series – Explained

Villain 3 Series (3.X)
The Villain 3 Series is based around my port of the Droid Eris 2.1 leak. It’s fast & stable, but there are a couple of issues with the ROM itself. It’s not incredibly feature rich, but it really is an excellent ROM to try if you’re after speed. There’s an issue with HTML access from within apps, such as Wapedia and Astrid. Work has gone as far as it can go with this ROM really.
Villain 4 Series (4.X)
The 4 Series of Villain ROM is based on a highly modified version of Behnam’s Legendary Alpha. The speed of Rosie was hugely increased. This is an incredibly feature rich ROM, with the majority of 2.1 features available and working. It suffers from the same GPS bug as the other recent releases, in that you have to turn the phone on with it enabled for it to function correctly.
This build is slower than the 3 & 5 series, but is overall a more complete rom. It lacks stability at times due to the lack of free resources.
Work will continue with this build.
Villain 5 Series (5.X)
The latest and potentially greatest 2.1 port yet. It’s in a reasonably early beta, with a few bugs. The most significant bug is that assisted call settings are replacing the + at the beginning of a number to ‘011’, meaning that calls do not go through. They work perfectly for UK numbers stored with a 0 at the beginning.
This is my far my fastest ever release. Definitely worth a try if you don’t store your contact numbers with a + at the beginning.
This is at the forefront of my attention at present.
VanillainROM
A little out of date now is my Vanilla ROM. Luckily, I’m only a few hours (work time, not actual time) from completing my latest semi-vanilla build. This will be released before the easter break.

Nur so nebenbei zum Thema wipen... Die "Source" ist einfach eine andere...
Wobei ich echt sagen mjuss, dass die 5er am schnellsten ist

Ich habe mir das Drauf gemacht und es lauft super ist in Deutsch Wlan, GPS, und alles andere lauft auch nur das mit denn Live Wallpapers habe ich noch nicht ihn bekommen.

Aber das Rom ist echt super.
