[ROM][14-09-2011] The-GingerMOD Vanilla v0.4b[AOSPized XXKG6] Fastest Rom! --patched! - xda-developers
Here it is:
The GingerMOD
What's that?
This is an AOSPized Version of the STOCK firmware, for whoever wants an AOSP experience BUT don't want to renounce to Samsung experience!
What lead me to do that:
GPU Browser
TV-Out
FM Radio
TW Camera
Now thoose are the main reasons I wanted to start from a stock rom and Remove TW from it!
In fact here are the only "samsuningness" left:

Lockscreen--> This will be an Hard work! But I'm sure it is possible to do!
The Goal of the Rom is NOT TO HAVE A COMPLETE SAMSUNG EXPERIENCE
BUT To have THE BEST of What Samsung done IN AOSP ANDROID
STILL WANT SAMSUNG APPS???

Those are Flashable ZIP! Just put them on Memory Card, go in CWM and flash them, just wipe Cache/Dalvik cache before boot!

Enable/Disable Stagefright Codec
Enable/Disable Bootsound

Calibrate your batery (will automatically reboot!)
