What a great day this is for the Milestone!


Tiagosousa just released a couple of hours ago a program that overclocks the milestone by a kernel module.

Well, it sure works on my Milstone.....YES!!!

Linpack scales up quite nicely

I've studied the source code. If the apk is built from that it appears perfectly safe. It just plays with some memory pointers hard coded as he said in the "How it works" part.

Habe es eben auf meinem o2 Milestone mit SHOLS_U2_02.31.0 installiert und laut Linpack ist das gute Gerät jetzt mit 800MHz über 50% schneller (6.5 statt 4.2)
Einfach nur genial.

i have the 2.1-reu, but in order to prevent the 2.1 introduced alarm bug,

Da steht, dass momentan nur der 2.1 central Europe Kernel unterstuetzt wird. Das war doch die 2.31, waehrend wir doch die 2.34 haben... laeuft das denn auch auf 2.34?

I'm running SHOLS_U2_02.34.0. It works perfectly fine.
