adb recovery menü - power taste zur auswahl funktioniert nicht

vol up und down funken, auch die menütaste (verbirgt den text im menü).
aber ich kann nix auswählen

auch ins recovery
-->im recovery kann ich auch mit vol up und down navigieren, nur auswählen kann ich nichts (sollte mit power funktionieren)

captivate modell!


naja flash jetzt mal JPC, dann wieder JM7 (jetzt mit JM8 funkts nich wie gesagt).. und hoff dann einfach dass es firmwareabhängig is..

wenn noch jemand ne idee hat?!?!

Ja es liegt am Kernal.. wenn du eine i9000 auf einem Captivate installierst fehlt der "Home" Button..

das selbe bereits mit jm8 versucht,
mit jpc hängt sich odin beim flashen der code auf..

hab alle tasten versucht.. auch in kombination (vol down halten und power dazu, back halten und power dazu, menü halten und power.. usw usf...)
geht um den adb recovery mode um die update.zip für superuser zu bestätigen...
captivate wie gesagt (kein hardkey für home)

flash jetzt mal ne originale captivate firmware und teste dann ob es geht... wenns dann nicht geht... *MEGAFAIL* ^^

mit orginal firmware kein menüpunkt für update.zip...

jetzt schreib ich dann gleich PM´s bei xda ;D

lösung (genau in der reihenfolge):

1) Remove SIM and MicroSD
2) Open Odin, load the I9000 PDA file (CODE_I9000XWJM5.tar.md5).
3) Check auto reboot and leave repartition unchecked.
4) Boot the phone into download mode (adb reboot download).
5) Flash.
6) Once the flash is complete the phone will be stuck in recovery.
7) Reopen Odin and load the stock Captivate kernel (kernel-captivate-stock.tar.md5.tar) in the PDA box and the 512 pit file.
8) From recovery boot the phone in download mode (adb reboot download).
9) Ensure auto reboot is checked and repartition is not checked.
10) Flash with Odin, the phone will boot.

-> dann kann auch die update.zip mit dem power button ausgewählt werden!
