3G-/Internetproblem

Hallo,

bin auch einer der "glücklichen" Besitzer eines Adams und komme nicht so ganz mit dem mobilen Internet klar.
Habe die UMTS 800/2100 Mhz Fassung des Adams, welche ja für DE/EU richtig ist meines Wissens.

Ich bekomme aber immer nur GPRS/Edge Verbindungen mit meiner Netzclub/O2 Simkarte. Habe die Einstellungen aus meinem LG P990 Optimus Speed übernommen und mit dem bekomme ich HSDPA.

Habe es getestet mit dem April Update von NI, mit der Beastrom und nun mit der HC Rom von tabletroms.
Mit allen immer nur GPRS.

Hat einer ähnliche Probleme oder funktioniert denn bei jemandem HSDPA oder UMTS?

Ja bei mir funzt alles nahezu ohne Probleme und gerade 3G besonders gut.
Kann dir auch leider nicht weiterhelfen evt weiss der super android Guru harvey mehr

Nee Jungs, tut mir leid, aber die Ganze 3G Geschichte ist nicht mein Ding. Ich habe auch Netzclub und es wird auch immer schön das 3G Symbol angezeigt. Aber ob ich nun GPRS, Edge, oder HDSPA gerade habe, keine Ahnung.
Auf meinem Galaxy Tab wird auch immer nur das normale 3G Icon angezeigt. Somit kann ich auch nicht checken, was der ADAM jetzt gerade haben sollte. Außerdem benutze ich 3G relativ selten, denn da wo ich mich normalerweise aufhalte steht WLAN zur Verfügung. Starbucks sei Dank

komische sache. ich hab jetzt mit o2,t-mobile und vodafone sim getestet immer nur GPRS :-(

Please follow the below mentioned steps to enable 3G/GPRS Service in the Adam:

NOTE: Please ensure that the Airplane Mode is turned OFF. By default, the Airplane Mode will be ON.

Please insert a 3G Enabled SIM Card correctly in the Adam.

Then, select SETTINGS >> WIRELESS and NETWORK >> MOBILE NETWORK SETTINGS and check the DATA ENABLED option.

After this, Select ACCESS POINT NAMES (APN) and tap on the OPTIONS button (third from the top).

Now, select NEW APN, from the options appearing at the bottom of the screen.

Then, enter the APN Settings provided by the Operator. (Please scroll down to view more settings).

Now, tap the OPTIONS button again and select SAVE from the options appearing at the bottom of the Adam screen.

After this, restart the Adam and check if the 3G Network is working.

NOTES:
While using a 3G Card, please ensure that the “Use only 2G Networks” option under SETTINGS>>Wireless and Network>>Mobile Networks, is unchecked.
Since the Adam supports only data transfer, it's not possible to make calls. However, Voice Chat is possible using a compatible Software like Skype.
Please turn OFF the Adam before inserting or removing the SIM Card, as it may damage the device.

Entweder gibts bei denen HSDPA nicht oder keine Ahnung was die mir sagen wollen.

Laut wikipedia ist HSDPA zumindest ein Teil von HSPA und sollte ja demnach gehen. Zudem scheint es ja bei dir auch zu gehen

kannst du mir evtl mal sagen was du beim APN eingestellt hast.

Hab da nur pinternet.interkom.de drin stehen. Aber damit nur das G-Symbol für GPRS

Das ist du erste vernünftige Antwort von NI die ich gelesen hab ich hab eine 1&1 Sim Karte drin und beim mir wechselt auch das verbindungs Icon zuverlässig =) als ich die Sim Karte eingelegt hab ging alles automatisch ohne Probleme,mach doch mal Netz suche und dann Auto select oder wie auch immer das sich schümpft

Hab ich auch schon gemacht bringt alles nüx.

Hab ja die Vermutung das die mir einfach das falsche UMTS Modem eingebaut haben

Weiss eigentlich wer ob die mitlerweile nen Standort in der EU haben?
Zumindest hab ich das ein oder andere mal gelesen, dass die hier was aufbauen wollen. Aber NI will ja immer viel wenn der Tag lang ist

Hast Du dir mal wifi analyser geladen ? Der zeigt dir genau an, wie du gerade verbunden bis (auch bei 3G, obwohl er wifi analyser heißt) Vielleicht wird ja nur nicht das Icon gewechselt.

Sorry, das Ding heißt nicht wifi analyser sondern NetWork Signal Info !!!

Naja wenn wenigstens die Surfgeschwindigkeit okay wäre würde ich ja an ein flaschen Symbol glauben

Hab jetzt für die 800kb mehrere Minuten gebraucht und in den Einstellungen unter Status habe ich nur GPRS stehen und Signalstärke -91dBm 11ASU

In dem Tool von dir steht

Net. operator. Netzclub springt aber sekündlich um zu No phone radio
Phone type: unknown or no signal
Net type GPRS 55kbit/s


kannst du mir mal deine Netzclub APN Einstellungen sagen?

Also da ich andauernd andere ROM's drauf habe (wg. HC Tests) habe ich mich um den APN nicht weiter gekümmert. Die 3G Einstellungen werden automatisch eingestellt. Ich habe gerade mal nachgesehen und seltsamerweise wird ein APN O2 prepaid aktiviert, aber in dem APN ist absolut nix eingetragen ausser MCC 266 und MNC 07.

Tja, schade, dann kann ich dir nicht weiter helfen.
Aber vielleicht noch ein kleiner Tip:
Wenn ich Probleme mit dem APN Einstellungen habe, dann lege ich die entsprechende SIM in ein anderes (Android) Telefon, lass mir die Konfigurations-SMS schicken und installieren und dann übernehme ich diese APN Einstellungen auf den ADAM

Auf jeden Fall mal Danke an euch alle für die Hilfe.
Evtl hat ja jemand noch die rettende Idee.
Gibts für Android nicht nen Gerätemanager indem ich sehen kann was da für ein umts modem verbaut ist. Nicht das es wirklich falsch ist.

Schau doch mal bei tabletroms.com nach, da gibt's irgendwo ne Hardwareliste oder bei NIH

So ich hab da mal wieder ne Antwort vom NI Support bekommen.

Ich weiss ja schon das da ein Ericson Modem drin sein sollte hab nur die Befürchtung das ich evtl ja versehentlich die USA-Version abbekommen habe.

It seems that I was not clear enough in the last conversation. Let me clarify the same.


Most of the Operators provide three services: 3G, HSPA and HSDPA. However, the Adam supports only HSPA or EDGE.


Hence, please contact your Sim Card provider for the HSPA settings.


The 3G module on the device is the Ericsson F3307. We would also suggest you to check with your desired provider if they support the same band.



Please reboot the Adam once and check if the 3G connection is working as expected after entering the correct parameters too.

You told me that the Adam supports only Edge and HSPA.
I don’t know if HSDPA was known outside the EU but it is HSPA and in many discussion boards I have read that owner of the Adam use HSDPA and UMTS.

So I cant use booth. I have set up the APN and the 2G only option is disabled too.

So what can I do now?

So also noch einmal ganz gezielt gefragt. Hatte da jemand von euch mal HSDPA oder ein H-Symbol. 3G gibts bei mir nicht nur HSDPA/UMTS/EDGE/GPRS was ja dann laut NI Support bei mir normal wäre.

Okay also ich werde hier nicht schlau draus.

Ist HSDPA das gleiche wie HSPA. Laut Wikipedia ja. Der von NI sagt nein. Bei Ebay gibts das Modem da zu kaufen und es soll HSDPA gehen.

Also, wenn ich da nicht völlig quer liege, kann das nicht sein, denn mit einem US teil würdest du hier überhaupt keinen Empfang bekommen.
