Are you using PPP Widget? Because I think it's nessesary... Also I think that it's recommended to deactivate the Sim-Pin Control.

I think the Sim-Pin issue is not related to this ROM but is a bug in the A211 version (S-ROM), as an build-in 3g device is completely different to a external dongle.

Here the handling will be done by PPP-Widget, which should not have the same wake-up problem.

Ich denke das Sim-Pin Problem betrifft nicht dieses ROM sondern ist ein Bug in der A211 Version (S-ROM), da ein eingebauter 3g Device was ganz anders als ein externer Dongle.

Hier wird das 3g Handling vom PPP-Widget erledigt, der nicht das gleiche Wake-UP Problem haben sollte.

brauche Hilfe....Mein Aktuell Custom -Rom ist JamesRom411HD+.


Seit gestern funktioniert mein Audio Steuerung nicht mehr. Gestern hatte ich kein Passwort im Tablett und mein Sohn ( 5 ) hatte in der Hand und rum gespielt.Seid dem geht steht in der Task leiste das Kopfhörerzeichen obwohl keine Kopfhörer eingesteckt sind.Mit dem Programm SoundAbout kann ich manuell ansteuern, Lautsprecher oder Kopfhörer, aber Automatikmodus funktioniert nicht. das Kopfhörerzeichen steht immer, aber es tut sich nix. Bei installation Roms, Egal welche, funktionieren die Lautsprecher einfach nicht.Gibt es da Probleme bei der Hardware?

Hallo da bin ich wieder…

So…. ich glaube jetzt ist komplett Schrott, Akku könnte ich nicht laden obwohl Netzstecker eingesteckt war und ist (Tablet hat sich selbst ausgeschaltet) , die Orange Leuchte leuchtet am Schalter und kann nicht mehr Hochfahren…Bitte Bitte…..hat noch jemand Idee die…wie kann ich noch mein Acer retten.

kommst du denn in den Recovery Modus? Viel bleibt ja ansonsten nicht...

Das Tab. ist der Hammer..Über die Nacht am Ladekabel gehabt und auf einmal ist es angegangen und es ladet wieder.
Die Frage stellt sich, was hat das Ding?

Ich besitze mein Acer 210 seit März, immer schon mit James Rom und hatte noch nie Probleme gehabt.
Hat es was mit der Hardware zutun....?

Ich denke nicht, dein Akku scheint einfach eine Tiefentladung gehabt zu haben,nichts wirklich 'schlimmes'. Selbes hatte ich auch,bei mir hatte es halt gereicht es 30min ans Ladekabel zu stecken,dann fing es an zu laden und als ich es hochfahren ließ waren dann 25% vorhanden. Also brauchst du dir da keine Gedanken machen.

Mitte/Ende nächster Woche gibts die neue James Rom !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Es geht weiter mit der AIO-Rom schiene und nicht mehr mit minimalismus.



Die Dev Edition erscheint 1-2 Tage davor.

Die Dev Version der neusten James Rom steht nun zur verfügung, die richtige James Rom erscheint morgen.
Achtung : Die Dev Version ist nicht eine richtige James Rom - also wer sie lädt und probleme kriegt ist selbst schuld. Sie wurde hauptsächlich gemacht um andere entwickler zu unterstützen.


Update 19.08 =
Die Rom wird leider verschoben, hatte heute bis 15 Uhr schule und anschließend musste ich einige anderen dinge erledigen.
Ich bin mir nicht sicher ob ich es heute noch veröffentlichen kann,aber die chance besteht zu 50%.Der link zur dev Version wird auch gefixt,zwei tage lang war die falsche datei verlinkt.
Heute abend noch,Morgen oder SPÄTESTENS am Mittwoch wird die Rom (+Dev Edition) hier zu finden sein.

An der SmoothieRom möchte ich auch weiterarbeiten,aber ich weiß nicht ob ich es Zeitlich schaffe, da ich momentan wirklich sehr viel zutun habe.

Die Rom ist oben! Viel spaß.

Hab das ROM gester mal installiert. Läuft super. Was mir aber aufgefallen ist Supersu kann seine Binäry nicht updaten. Habe danach den neueste Kiwi Kernel installiert und Permissions gefixxt, danach hats funktioniert. Aber sonst TOP. Danke für die tolle Arbeit.

I've just installed your latest zip. I factory reset, cleared all cache including davlik. I applied the zip and rebooted.
Now my tablet just says 'Android'. I cannot reboot it or get it into recovery.
Help please.

I managed to find instructons on the manual access to recovery (power+sound-) and I've reapplied your V3.0 from XDA and it is working again.
Any idea why your new version does not work for me?

Maybe you just had an bad Download? Had also one time a moment like this,said that i never will flash again.. but it was just an corrupt download at the end,so redownload helped.. So maybe just redownload and try again.

Evtl war es nur ein fehlerhafter Download,hatte dasselbe auch einmal. Ein erneutes Downloaden half,sodass alles funktionierte.
Also einfach am besten mal erneut downloaden.

I thought of that too. The first download failed during the flash. I downloaded again and it completed 100%. I will try a third download as that is a good suggestion.
I forgot this had happenned to me with a mk809 media stick and it took a third download before it booted.

Ja. Der Menü-Punkt Wipe-Data/Factory-Reset im Recovery ist das, was man ausführen muss für einen 'Clean Flash'

Have you made an MD5 Check?
I can say you my MD5 of the next-to-last One;I mean not the latest but that before,so that you can compare if your download is just a corrupt download(again??).
Will edit my post when I made a MD5 Checksum and post my result.

IT WORKED!!! ;-)

The third file downloaded and the flash worked this time.
I deleted the previous files before downloading so I am afriad I can't hash check.

Das letzte James Rom update steht bereit.
Die JamesRom enthält nun CrossBreeder um eine bessere Performance zu erzielen.
Der Browser-Bug wurde nun endgültig behoben.


Ich höre auf mit den 4.1.1 Roms,da diese Android Version (fast) veraltet ist und es schon bessere und aktuellere Roms gibt.
Außerdem sind die Download und User zahlen relativ wenig geworden.
