Android 3.1 für das Xoom (EU, 3G)

Hallo,

ich habe ein Problem, nach dem Update auf Android 3.1 (Vielen Dank für die tolle Anleitung) und auf das Tiamat_Xoom-2.6.36.4-v1.4.4-Full-Throttle habe ich leider kein 3G Empfang (WLAN und Android läuft super). Ich raufe mir hier schon seit seit 2 Tagen die Haare und weiß einfach keinen Rat mehr.
Ich habe die Anleitung Schritt für Schritt befolgt. Jedoch ist mir aufgefallen das meine Backup telephony.db-journal Datei (von Andorid 3.0) 0 KB groß ist (ein Blick mit Notepad besagt auch kein Inhalt die Datei ist wirklich leer).
Meine SIM Karte ist von Base, vielleicht hat jemand für mich eine telephony.db-journal Datei und könnte mir die bitte zusenden.
Oder hat jemand eine Idee wie ich dieses Problem anderes lösen könnte?

Es ist mir noch folgendes aufgefallen unter "Drahtlos und Netzwerke" - "Mobilnetze" - "Netzbetreiber" - "Verfügbare Netzwerke" werden mir alle Anbieter aufgelistet und wenn ich "manuell E-Plus" oder "Automatisch auswählen" anklicke so erhalte ich immer folgende Fehlermeldung "Ihre SIM-Karte unterstützt keine Verbindung mit diesem Netzwerk". Hat jemand eine Idee?

Was ich vergessen habe, hast du ein Link für mich wo ich mir die runterladen kann (auch eine Anleitung wäre Prima)

Die telephony journal db war bei mir auch leer. Das dürfte also kein problem sein.

Muss du bei xda dev schauen oder warten bis ich morgen zu hause bin

Motorola collaborated with Google to develop the industry's first Honeycomb tablet. Motorola XOOM and Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi in the US are Google Experience Devices. Software updates for these devices are developed by Google directly, so while Motorola XOOM users in the US may be the first to receive such updates, the updates only include what is provided by Google.

Motorola XOOM units in other regions are not Google Experience Devices. Because of this, Motorola has greater flexibility in providing software updates to these devices, including providing additional functionality that may not be included in the Google software updates.

Following our previous post regarding 3.1, we can now announce Android™ 3.1 for Motorola XOOM™ will soon be available over the air to all Motorola XOOM users in Europe. We expect the over-the-air deployment to begin in early August, with the package being available for pull by August 9th.

The most notable of the new enhancements, the 3.1 update activates the SD card slot so users can expand the memory of their Motorola XOOM up to 64GB, with the addition of a 32GB SD card (this feature not available until Android 3.2 in some markets). This update also includes improved multi-tasking, providing instant visual access to a large number of applications as well as resizable home screen widgets. More information on the update will be available once the release notes are finalised.

Wird das Motorola 3.1 irgendwas können was Googles 3.2 mit Hammerhead nicht kann? Also wird es sich lohnen zurück auf original zu Flaschen?

L.K. auf der Motorola Development Web Seite werden unlock Images angeboten, ist das gleich zu setzen mit gerootet?

Nein, das sind normale System-Images, die geflasht werden. Danach hat man ein Xoom auf Werkseinstellung, also ohne Root-Zugriff.

Mich würde an dieser Stelle mal interessieren, ob auch diejenigen die ihr Gerät als OEM UNLOCK (EU, 3G) am laufen haben, heute ein Update erhalten haben.

Ja, bin unlocked und habe die Updates bekommen.

Übrigens kann man mit 3.1 auch ohne SIM Karte das Xoom benutzen. Ist mir grade aufgefallen als ich ohne SIM gebooted habe.
