Hier jetzt mal ein Rom, was euch alles andere vergessen lässt, was ihr früher über Geschwindigkeit oder Minimalität gehört habt ;) Habs seit gerade drauf und bin immer noch total fix und fertig wie geil das Rom ist :D

I am the owner of the Slim ICS for Nexus S and Galaxys S devices. I have compiled a light ROM for SGS2.

Thanks a ton to Rodrigo, who was willing and patient in testing my multiple builds and thanks to koud for some helpful tips and hints.

NOTE: No Bug Reporting if what you are using is not 100% stock SLIM please.

IMPORTANT:: If you are going to report issues, Read the first 3 posts first and put a note in your post saying you did, then produce a logcat ( adb logcat > filename.txt). Failing to do so, your post will be ignored.

Built fully from AOSP 4.0.3 sources, with device folder and kernel from Team Hacksung

  • Zeam Launcher ( stock ICS launcher provided in addon package)
  • Basic Google Stuff Included ( 4.0.4 Gmail,Talk, Calendar and Contacts sync)

  • 182 DPI ( use 240 for any incompatible apps or check here for market workaround)

Installation Instructions:

  • ( Only applicable from next build on for to be Slim Users)
  • A simple wipe cache/dalvik cache and install this should be it. If you want clean install, wipe data, format system, and cache, then install.
OR
RECOMMENDED OPTION FOR NEW USERS
  • These steps should work for anybody who has Sammy GB ROM on the phone with CWM recovery
    • Flash CM9 build, then mine ( if you are on another AOSP ICS ROM, this shouldn't bee needed, just wipe cache/dalvik)
    • Reboot to recovery or if it bootloops, pull battery, enter CWM
    • wipe data, format system ( if bootloops)Flash base + essentials
    • reboot to system, if you see black home screen, press soft menu, preferences, customize Zeam Launcher.

if modem is not recognized ( Unknown Baseband), please flash the one of your local modems

was den hier los ? werden negative einträge glöscht ?
 
hat schon einer das Rom drauf? ich hab gerade das HyDrOG3NICSv1.3.zip geflashed und hab nach Anleitung einen fullwipe gemacht und dann die slim ics 2.8. zip und direkt danach die essentials 9100. danach bleibt der Bildschirm am gelben Dreieck stehen. hab es auch schon mit cm9 probiert und vorher gewiped und nach dem flashen bzw alle möglichen Variationen ausprobiert. weiß einer Hilfe?

von diesen ganzen flashprozeduren hab ich auch net viel ahnung...

Ich hatte vorher n anderes ics-rom drauf.

- Cache wipe
- Dalvik wipe
- slim ics 2.8 installiert
- essentials installiert
- galaxy s2 settings installiert
- wifi toggle patch installiert

=> läuft


1. Test zum Batterieverbrauch:

Heute Nacht 23:30-10:00 (10,5h) im Flugmodus => Akku ist immer noch auf 100%.

So hab nochmal im xda-Thread gelesen und da hat einer das Kernel Script vorgeschlagen.

Hat auch geklappt. Direkt danach hab ich die slim 2.8.zip geflashed und anschließend die essentials. --> Handy bleibt wieder beim gelben Dreieck hängen. Was läuft da software technisch falsch das der nicht hochfährt?
Falsche Bootloader? Ich hab mir noch nie so dermaßen die zähne an einer rom ausgebissen, wie bei dieser:-D
Naja vll. hat noch einer einen heißen Tipp, ansonsten lass ich es;)
 
Mysteriöe Angelegenheit das Ganze :D

Lass doch den Fullwipe einfach mal weg, bei mir hat ja auch Cachewipe und Dalvikwipe gereicht. Einfach normales cm9 vorher draufmachen, dann beides wipen und dann nochmal probieren.

Ich gebs auch auf wie beschrieben klappts einfach nicht :blink:
 
Ich werd es mal Testen, wenn ich einen Funktionierenden weg habe schreib ich ihn. Lade gerade runter.

Hmm... verstehe wer will, ich nicht :D

Bei mir gings auf beschriebene Art und Weise beim ersten Versuch ohne jede Probleme, komisch
 
Also , Full Wipe im Recovery ,


CM9 ( habe die letzte Nightly genommen ) Flashen, danach ohne wipe direkt die Slim Zip und die Essentiel Zip Flashen dann gehts, gerade selbst getestet bzw habs gerade drauf

Und ist die ROM soviel besser und schneller als zB Sakaschis oder HydroGenics von Paradoxxx? Kjetal du kannst die ja vergleichen!

Und was hat es mit den Essentials auf sich?
 
Nö, ist nicht besser, zumindest in meinen Augen. Finde pures AOPK momentan am besten, demnach Bezke Base oder halt Sakaschi wegen den S2 settings , beides hat AOKP Base.

Für mich momentan am besten, solange bis die Settings in CM9 sind.

Schneller mag es minimal sein aber im Prinzip ist es nichts anderes als CM9 mit ein paar mehr Settings.

Das Rad der Zeit wurde nicht neu erfunden. Momentan gibt es nur CM9 und Kopien oder AOKP und Kopien, die einen mit mehr, die anderen mit weniger Optionen.

habs jetzt auch auf die kette bekommen ich empfehle das build vom 29.02 ausm rommanager unter codeworkx zu finden der punkt damit es auch klappt ist das man sein build was man drauf hat nochma drüber zu Flashen und direkt ohne irgendwelche wipes die Slim Zip und die Essentiel Zip Flashen dann gehts wie kjetal schon sagte

Warum ich die build vom 29.02.2012 empfehle ? aus dem einfachem Grund da flash in dieser version noch voll und ohne fehler unterstützt wird und da es keine Neuerungen gab die was großes verändert haben außer die youtube streifen Geschichte
