Ja das muss sein.. sonst würde ich das ja nicht erwähnen ;-)

Das muss gemacht werden weil der Dalvik-cache neu aufgebaut werden muss nach den neuen Settings... und das erneute neustarten weil sonst der optimierungscript nicht ausgeführt wird.

Aber.. wenn du dir noch kein ADB eingerichtet hast, kannst es auch über den Root Browser machen !! das geht natürlich auch !

Navigiere zu /data .. dort findest du ein Ordner: "dalvik-cache"
Geh dort rein.. dann alles markieren und löschen.. warten bis er alles gelöscht hat... dann Herunterfahren (sofort)..wipe cache machen dann Phone einschalten.. warten bis es komplett hoch fährt.. kann was dauern... und anchliessend wieder herunterfahren ...und einschalten.. das wars.

I've succeeded in installing this ROM in the un-rooted version (with Odin), because the 'Hinweis' in the 3rd post says to use that one if you want to use it with CM later.

I've also downloaded ace2nutzer's codina kernel and latest cm11 build but I'm unsure how to proceed from here. It appears that I don't have CWM recovery yet, and the default recovery gives a few warnings:
'E: failed to mount /preload (Invalid argument)
E: install_application_for_customer: Can't mount /preload

your storage not prepared yet, please use UI menu for format and reboot actions.
copy application failed.

u misunderstood something.

that unrooted version with no root acces is for installing later the cwm kernel for I8160 for LL2.
Then the Phone is rooted.

But this is Android 2.3.6

And if u like to use CM11 with my latest kernel ... then u shold flash first the latest Stock 4.1.2 Jeally bean Software ... then with temp. cwm .. (see in my dev-host) install CM11 .. then gapps - pico-uni .. and then flash latest kernel ... for beginners use always the packages with "ext4"

ROM + Kernel u can find it on FTP Server... u can find the Links in Kernel thread of XDA ...

So don't use the instructions of this thread here.. it's outdated .. Software .. but anyway it's running very well.

Here is also no OC options for CPU/GPU ... and i don't will develop it for this old ROM.
