reboot tablet in 2.3, and run:
adb shell dmesg > dmesg23.txt
then flash 4.0, boot it, and also:

both created dmesg23.txt and dmesg40.txt post there please.

A moment: what problem you had with wi-fi and 3g?, Works for me properly wi-fi, and good on 3g I have no idea how to know if it works since I have no mobile internet service.

Mine tablet have Atheros 6003 WiFi, but CatNova have 6002. So for me WiFi doesn't working on CatNova firmware.

External 3G adapters working fine. But mine EM86 have internal 3G, connected into secondary USB bus.
CatNova's ohci/ehci modules not working. Plus, it requires to pullup pins 166&167 to power it up.
CatNova hasn't internal 3G module, this why hey doesn't see that usb host modules broken

em86 is "Core" board. Emdoor can install different peripherals. If you have working wifi on your tablet -- you have 6002 wifi chip. Do you have SIM card port on your tablet? If not, you have no internal 3g

Yes, its working as phone, but on keyboard block it disconnects from network, so it not good usable as phone But several times when i have forgot phone, i have used tablet to call wife... Its fun to talk using 8" tablet

Well, after you activate 3G in settings, also check "APN" settings, and wait for a bit.
Did it write you "connect dongle", or it activates fine?
Did search for networks working?

agh! yes, you should try to install 3G activator that i have done for android4. try it

If it will works, there several messages lower new boot.img with 3G module built-in.

Hhmmm... I hope you have not re-flashed boot.img, just trying modules.
Reboot, and try to load ONLY gpiotoggle.ko and echo to it; without ohci/ehci drivers;
and show output of dmesg & lsusb. (I hope, you have installed full busybox).

Ahha. 1st of all: you should root your tablet.
Download Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip
Unpack it
Run sequence:

After that, your tablet succesfully rooted.

Please install busybox application from there:

It will require root privilege to install newest dosbox app, but you already gained root.

After that, enter to tablet using "adb shell", load ehci, ohci, gpio modules, echo to gpio, wait ~10 seconds, after that gather output of commands

and show it there please.

Well, it works!! but, when I shut down and restart the device, stop to work, so I tried again the adb shell thing, and works, and so, and so.... Every time I perform de adb shell thing, the 3g works pretty well, but once restart the device, it stops working :S

Good. Then, you should flash 3g img via flash_image as i have written few posts later. It will always enable internal 3G so it will works after reboot fine.

I have another question, I clearly can recibe calls, but I dont know how to call, I dont see any app of ICS to call, how i can call?

But when i flash 3g img via flash image, there is no touch :s
