Lollipop loswerden

Moinsen. Dachte mir, vielleicht bringt ein Android Update was.

Nach dieser Anleitung: [Q] SM-A500FU maybe I BRICKed it - please HELP - downgrade 5.0.2 > 4.4.4 - Post #37 - XDA Forums
Kann also bestätigen, man kanns downgraden ohne Hardbrick.

Without further ado, here is what I did step by step:
  1. VolDown+Home+Power until you get the download screen.
VolUp to continue, then VolUp+Home+Power until you get the recovery screen (stock recovery is just fine).

  2. Wipe data/factory reset and also Wipe cache.

  3. VolDown+Home+Power until you get the download screen. VolUp to continue.

  4. Download the recovery firmware for your model from here (I have an A500FU and I used this one ###) which includes the BL, CP, CP, CSC images, and unzip it.

  5. In Odin (I used 3.10.6 but other versions should be fine too) make sure you load only the BL,AP,CP,CSC files (do not load the PIT) and make sure that you also check "Phone Bootloader Update" <-- THIS IS KEY. Then press Start.
  6. Phone rebooted normally into the new rom

... expected since we flashed a correct bootloader!

  7. This recovery firmware is a german rom which I didn't want, so then I flashed my original 4.4.4 firmware from Sammobile (in my case it was this one ###) again with Odin, but this time load only load the AP file and do uncheck the bootloader update.

  8. Then I did the first 2 steps again to wipe data and cache, and then rebooted

  9. Done. All works fine.
