Medion lifetab 10334 custom rom

Yes I installed bootloader v1.24. I must download bootloader v2.10 from that page Rockchip bootloader collection RK29xxLoader / RK30xxLoader / RK3168Loader / RK3188Loader - Forum - ARCTABLET NEWS ? .After this process my tablet should boot sucessfully?

Jetzt muss in der RK-AndroidTool-Maske unten "Found RKAndroid Rock USB" stehen
EraseIDB wählen, dann Run > Erfolgs Meldungen kontrollieren!

Yes, it should, if you set the right parameters with RKAndroidTool. Only put the Loader 2.10 somewhere you remember the path
If Tab in Bootloader-Mode connected in the RKAndroidTool-Screen it should show at the bottom "Found RKAndroid Rock USB"
Deactivate all Lines 2, 3 till 8 ; and keep only Line1 - > Loader activated and set the Path for the RK3188Loader(L)_V2.10.bin
Start Erase IDB > then Run -> Check positiv confirmations
The Tablet should boot now into Android
If not, try to enter Android-Recovery > wipe data / factory-reset
If you can not enter Recovery, you have to reflash the _all.bin.gz with kkorc!
To enter Recovery, Tab switched off, use the same button-combination as for bootloader-mode, but with no USB-cable connected.

After flashing loader 2.10 , kkorc restore and did factory reset tablet finally back to my old android 4.4.2 . Thank you very much Daddle!

Fine, thank you for your feedback. Off course, after EraseIDB and bootloader-flash the Backup must be flashed again, have been too
optimistic about that. But I myself have been lucky, I never flashed a wrong Rom and had to correct this until now. Next time please be more
careful in choosing a custom rom, As far as I know there is no suitable available, neither a single custom recovery.

[doublepost=1456165872,1456165716][/doublepost]Good evening!Where i can find a backup for s10334 on RKDevelopTool 1,37?Please help i cant turn on the device!

Hallo andi55,

Hello andi, You cannot make a backup with RK-Develop-Tool. RK-Android-Tool (enclosed in RK-Develop-Tool) can only restore a backup of ram-areas, also with the complete rom included, when you have made a backup before with rk-flashtools in Linux. (Adress-range 0x00000000 (Header) until 0x00384000(system).

Did you root your Tablet with "kkorc"; than I said one should make a backup before rooting. This you could restore with kkorc. (English Version at the end of the tut.)

Hey, in Post 2 everything stands there, incl. the Original firmware to restore with kkorc. I just found out I had posted it here three months ago.

Hi Andi,

No. You cannnot backup your Tablet with RK-Developer-Tool, only with rkflashtool in Linux. Only restore with RK-Developer-Tool / RK-Android-Tool those with rkflashtools taken backupped images.
Nobody posted about such an backup being available here in this forum. As I wrote, the easy way to restore your Tablet with the original Firmware is to make use of "kkorc" and the backup I provided under the link in post 2.
It will repair and bring back your Tablet to factory-status. If you didn't change the correct bootloader by trying to flash another custom-rom.
If so, flash the correct bootloader provided by the tut in Arctablet, I only wonder about given Version 2.16, the original Version for the S10344 was V. 2.10, like pointed out by me to User emil1122 in post 20, who successfuly managed to restore his Tablet with bootloader V. 2.10 and with kkorc with my given "kkorc-backup".

And Linux is no problem, if you make use of the in the kkorc-tut described Linux-Live USB-Stick. Every step is taken care of. At the end of the Tut is an english translation in a "Spoiler". And from post 2 on here in the thread is a dialogue with another User emil1122, all posts in English, which could help you also.

Thanks for the Link to Arctablet, but this didn't work for you, may be you made an error with flashing the correct bootloader. But the procedure there gives you an exact way, and the S10334-Stock.rar has all the raw partititons in it, they were most probably ripped with rkflashtools; and there is an CWM-Backup in there also, to be restored in a second step.

I only wonder about the two step procedure; after you flashed the bootloader and with RK-Android-Tool all partitions fromout the folder rockdev\images, the Tab should start, evtl. a factory-reset must be done first before starting the Tablet to reset the file-counter.
The partition-images boot, kernel an recovery are bit for bit identical to the ones in the cwm-backup, the system-image I can not compare because of different format, but I assume is the correct one for the S10334-Tab. The data and cache files are normally not necessary, and hold the private informations. Maybe the CWM-Backup is faulty or the download.

Please ask the author there for support if you don't manage.

Can I do it on Linux virtual machine?Where i can find a instruction?I dawnload the stock s10334 at post 2.

One question.I made a backup of other same tablet with RK_Rom_Dumper_and_Flasher.,gave a loader v2.10 and restore it to my tablet.Tablet turn on but stopped on Android logo.CWM recovery is working. What the problem may be?

Hello andi!

Why it does not start with Loader 2.10 and CWM-Recovery no idea, it's the same effect as after your flashing before, when you did run the Restore of the CWM.Backup? If you have a identical tablet at hands you also could make with kkorc a backup from that one and restore it onto the other one. But kkorc doesn't backup private data, only the complete firmware.

Why make it more complicated? A Live-Linux-USB-Stick (32-bit only) is the easiest fastest safest way; In a virtual machine (Linux 32-bit only) it often makes problems with the usb-ports; and other side effects.

But whichever method you will use, first you have to flash the correct bootloader; for this you also can make use of RK-Android-Tool.exe, Tab in bootloader-mode, keep the first line "loader" checked only, and uncheck all other lines. and give the location-path to RK3188Loader(L)_V2.10 .bin. Tab in Flash(bootloader)-mode, (Screen stays dark) connect with usb-2.0-port,
First EraseIDB and second Run; this flashes the bootloader, it does the same as RK-Develop-Tool.exe in the Arctablet-News-Tut.
Then make use of kkorc, Tab still in Flashmode, the file kkorc (without .bin ) and the "S10334_allbin.gz" renamed to "_allbin.gz" in folder downloads:
Open a linux-terminal and enter:
1. $ cd Downloads ..... > and press Enter key.
2. $ sudo sh - .... > Note the space between sh and the minus (-); > Enter key. > The prompt changes to a single # character.
3. # chmod 0777 kkorc > Enter key. You should see the single "#" prompt again without any error message.
4. # ./kkorc -zrestore > Enter > Now the kkorc logo pops up and restores the " _allbin.gz" backup-file.

Deutsch:

Hi! I installed a linux-live usb stick. And do everything like you said, but i have some problems working with linux. What the errors i did?
Hallo!
I transferred kkorc on destop
Ich übertragen kkorc auf den Desktop

1. $ cd Downloads #not find a command
2. $ sudo sh
3. # chmod 0777 kkorc# not find a "kkork"
What i did wrong?
Was habe ich falsch gemacht?

Grüsse, daddle[/QUOTE]

You must know in which directory you are. This tells the prompt in the linux terminal. The file backup "_allbin.gz"
must be in the same directory as the file "kkorc"
Your command 2. $ sudo sh misses the sign - , correct at the dollar prompt: $ sudo sh -
and if the answer in Point 3 comes "not find kkorc", kkorc and your prompt are not in the same path and
directory.
Type at the prompt: ls -l , to find out in which directory you are; most probably in Desktop-folder
depending on Linux-Version it could also be Arbeitsplatz. Check also with a file-explorer.

I restored the tablet, and it turn on!But another problem is.It wants "Passwort zum Entschlusseln des eingeben" ?? What passwort? What is this now?

As I wrote before. Make a wipe cache / factory-reset in recovery, then it should boot normally.

Hi emil,

you are lucky. Forget your CWM, you have to make use of kkorc,.

Download for backup and rooting the Tool kkorc. There is an English Tutorial at the end in a "Spoiler".

To enter flash-mode, with switched-off tablet, connected via USB, for your Tab you have to use the Volume (+) button instead the Vol. (-), keep it pressed and additionally press Power, keep both buttons pressed for 4 to max.5 seconds, not longer. The screen must stay complete dark and empty when you enter flashmode. To verify enter at a bash 'lsusb'. > expected answer amongst other entries > Bus00X Device00X: ID 2207:310b. Read the Tut !

Succes, daddle

Downloads liegen.

The codes to restore in a linux32-bit-terminal; kkorc and the after downloading to ' _all.bin.gz' renamed file must be put in the same folder, e.g. Downloads:
Code:
kubuntu@kubuntu:~$ lsusb   -> expected answer -> Bus00X Device00X: ID 2207:310b amongst other entries
kubuntu@kubuntu:~$ cd Downloads
kubuntu@kubuntu:~/Downloads$ sudo sh - [empty space between sh and minus (-)]
# chmod 0777 kkorc
#./kkorc -zrestore
