Xperia D ist eine Sammlung von Mods, die das Defy wie ein Xperia wirken lassen. Der User mato_d007 von xda hat die Rom "just for fun" gemoddet. Die Rom basiert auf Quarx Nightly vom 10.01.2013.

:::Installation:::

1. Download and copy the latest ROM zip to SD Card
2. Reboot into Recovery Mode
3. Select Wipe data and cache
4. Select install zip from sd card
5. Select choose zip from sd card
6. Select the new ROM zip
7. Select Yes - Install update
8. Wait until the Installation is finish *IMPORTANT - DONT WIPE AFTER INSTALL THE ROM*
9. Select reboot system now
10. Wait 5-10 min
11. Enjoy

IMPORTANT - This is not a standard ROM, with so many features it will fill your /system partition and you will have to delete some things if you want to install another mod that you like. Also this ROM will install apps on your /data partition so you can delete the ones you dont like. Thats why you must do a full wipe BEFORE install this rom, and not after. If you wipe after install the rom, you will delete many of the apps that are important to make some features work.

Ist grade am installieren

Irgendwie funktioniert bei meinen Defy das WLAN mit der ROM nicht.

FullWipe vor der Installation gemacht oder einfach drüber installiert? Mit FullWipe gehts bei mir (und zwar komischerweise deutlich besser als mit dem Quarx-Original)

könnte bitte jemand die neueste version zur verfügung stellen? google drive geht nicht, skydrive braucht ms-account und torrent kann ich nicht übers defy laden.

über diese Meldung komme ich leider nicht hinaus.


EDIT: ist aber jetzt eh hinfällig, da ich mein NB via Tethering verbunden hab und jetzt den torrent verwenden kann.

Läuft ganz gut soweit die Rom. Einzig die automatische Helligkeiteinstufung lässt sich (wie bei allen andren CM10 Versionen) nicht abspeichern. Alles in allem läufts recht flüssig wenn auch dafür etwas träger als bei der JellyBeanCannon V.8.1.1.

Der findet keine Lieder und ich finde keine Möglichkeit den Pfad einzugeben.

1. Rotes Standard Motorola Logo wird nicht ersetzt
2. MD5-Summe, bei allen zukünftigen Zips hinzufügen

Ansonsten, schöne Arbeit, sehe aber jetzt schon, dass die Akkulaufzeit nicht so dolle sein wird, mit den ganzen Widgets

MD5 ist eine prüfsumme, die bei einer Datri immer gleich bleiben sollte. Falls dem nach dem download nicht so ist, hast du eine fehlerhafte datei. Zur überprüfung muss dir aber natürlich die originale md5 bekannt sein.

So, ein kleines Résumé nach den ersten Tagen der Verwendung:

Die ROM selbst läuft soweit ganz gut, hier und da etwas flüssiger als die standard-Quarx ROMs, dafür aber an anderen Stellen etwas träge. Mittels TitaniumBackup hab ich sämtliche Twitter- und FB-Apps und die damit verbundenen Dienste deinstalliert --> hat soweit keinerlei negative Folgen gehabt.

Der Walkman funktioniert einwandfrei, hat aber leider keine Dateigrößenbegrenzung was das Erkennen von MP3 betrifft. Somit sind leider alle Gesprächsaufnahmen auch in der Playlist... Ist ziemlich lustig wennst auf ner Party deine Musik auf "random" laufen lässt und dann sowas kommt .

kleinere Bugs/Lags:

• Bildbearbeitung in der CM10-Gallery geht nicht mehr (in der build.prop ist der Wert von dalvik.vm.heapsize auf 48m gesetzt, ein Erhöhen auf 128m brachte keine Verbesserung)
• Customizen der Helligkeitsabstufungen lässt sich nicht abspeichern
• Der Zeitraum vom Betätigen des "Anrufen"-Button bis zum Aufbau des Anrufs ist mit ca. 5 sec viel zu lange.
• Videoaufnahme ruckelt wie bei jeder CM10 Version
• Akkuleistung ist leider extrem schlecht. Hab seit heute morgen fast nichts mit dem Defy gemacht und das Ergebnis ist im Anhang zu sehen. Info: 3G-Netz, "Autom.Sync." ist per Energiewidget deaktiviert (k.A. wo dieser Punkt im Menü zu finden ist).
• CPU Spy zeigt nur Blödsinn an. Hat jemand ähnliches beobachtet? Geht meine CPU GAR NICHT in den deep-sleep-modus?

• also laut Changelog ist die Bildbearbeitung auch nicht integriert.
• die Helligkeitsstufen waren/sind ein allgemeiner CM10-Bug beim Defy...
• zur akkuleistung: bei mir hält die ROM ganz gut durch, du scheinst vom Android-OS-Bug
betroffen zu sein (unter dem Namen solltest du einiges finden)
• Leider wird in CM10 wirklich nur der DeepSleep ausgelesen und bei dir war eben Android
die ganze Zeit im Hintergrund aktiv und hat das Schlafen verhindert.
