Wäre es möglich, eine vollständige Ubuntu-Distribution zu installieren?

Would it be possible to install a full Ubuntu distribution? I remember you could fully replace Android on the Nexus 7 and I was hoping that it would be possible for other devices like the Acer Iconia Tab A210. I know I would much prefer to have a full Linux tablet instead of Android.

If this is possible or someone is willing to give this a shot I would be ever so grateful. If not then is there another way to achieve this?

There is a Project called 'Ubuntu-Touch' which would create a custom ROM containing a Ubuntu instead of Android.

I guess its a bit the same to port this for certain device like porting a custom ROM like CM or OmniROM.

Da würde ich mich anschließen. Finde Ubuntu auf dem Laptop schon sehr geil, auf dem Tablet würde ich mir dass sehr gerne mal anschauen.
