ACHTUNG! BITTE NICHT INSTALLIEREN, WENN DIE DPI NICHT AUF 240DPI GESTELLT IST. (DEFAULT IST 320DPI)

Kurzanleitung DPI umstellen:

Root Explorer oder ähnlich installieren.
Die Datei /system/build.prop mit Open im Text Editor öffnen.
Die Zeile ro.sf.lcd_density=320 suchen und die 320 durch 240 ersetzen. Speichern und Reboot.

Launcher now runs side by side with stock launcher!

I highly recommend flashing the stock launcher back to have as backup after installing this if you have used version 1.0 before.

Here is a modified stock launcher optimized for a modded lcd density of 240 dpi. While it will run on a stock 320 dpi Nexus, it will be so messed up it will be unusable. Landscape mode is fully working. Your feedback is appreciated!

I can make different icon grids based on request (5x5 or 6x5 for example). Eventually i want to make it so that the user can change this from the app itself.



Home Screens:

• 6x6 Icon Grid / 7x6 No Search Bar
• 7 Icon Bottom Bar (aka Hotseat)
• Resize ALL Widgets (after adding a widget you have to pick it up and drop it again to enter resize more)

App Drawer:

• 6x7 App Icons / 9x5 (landscape)
• 2x4 Widgets / 3x3 (landscape)

Changelog:

- Added a 7x6 desktop no search bar version (for use in portrait only)
- All apps button animation has been modified to prevent seeing apps on the next homescreen over
- Moving an existing app/widget uses the tablet like overview mode
- Resize all widgets! (After adding a widget, pick it up and drop it again to enter resize mode)
- All apps drawer: 6x7 portrait / 9x5 landscape
- Now a separate app form the stock launcher, to allow side by side use

Grundsätzlich gefällt mir der MOD. Leider habe ich eine für mich wichtige APP (Kindel) welche mit der DPI Zahl nicht so ganz zurecht kommt. Interessanterweise wird innerhalb der APP das Menü richtig als Android4 Menü mit den 3 Punkten Rechts oben angezeigt. (Ist bei 320DPI nicht so!) Leider kann man aber bei 240 im Gegensatz zu den 320 DPI den Seitenrand nicht mehr einstellen. Und der ist sehr sehr sehr breit. Man verliert mindestens 1/3 der Lesefläche. Das geht leider gar nicht. Wenn jemand einen Trick kennt her damit ;-)

Update:
Ok ich beantworte mir die Frage mal selbst. 241DPI haben geholfen. Ab 240 scheint Kindel zu denken es ist ein Tablet.

Eigentlich nicht. Allerdings haben manche Apps Probleme. Bei mir z.B. Kindel.
