@ Poza: habe das Problem mit dem Akku selber bemerkt, auch das Gerät wurde sehr warm... Weiß zwar nicht ob es nur Einbildung war als ich deinen Thread gelesen hab aber glaube das es wirklich so war.

Akku raus für 5 Minuten wieder eingeschalten und lädt wieder ganz normal.

unter 2.1 funzt irgendwie meine sdcard nicht mehr....ist das nur bei mir so oder kennt ihr das problem...:confused:

Danke @ D3rPat3: tatsächlich es ist genau so wie du sagst....aku raus 5min warten und es ladet einigermassen wider normal...

telefonieren in / out = ok/ko mit lautsprecher ok
wifi = ok
bluetooth = ko
home button = ok
gps = ok
flash player = Funktioniert einwanfrei !!
music/audio= ko
web browser = ok
voice recorder = ko
camera = ko
linpak = 32 Mflop
root = ok mit der datei im anhang..
schon bald alltags tauglich....:scared::thumbsup:

Geile Sache das 0.0.2 Update. Programme stürzten immer mal ab aber wenn wir mal bedenken das wir vor 1 Monat noch 1.6 drauf hatten wow wow wow

Seit dem 0.0.2. hält mein akku auch im 2.1 wesentlich länger

Kein Problem :)

Ich bin ca. 5 std am Tag auf XDA... und habe den CustomRom Tread dauerhaft geöffnet... +AutoRefresh der ersten Seite :)

Ich warte nämlich Tag für Tag auf Neuigkeiten... und auf nen funktionierendes/stabiles 2.2.1 Rom :D

Aktuell ist es mir noch zu laggy und ich habe 3 mal versucht nen Kollegen zu erreichen... Chipmunk stimmen... + Handy reboot :D also für mich noch ned so alltagstauglich.

Trotzdem überzeugt mich der Speed vom Rom... auch mit den aktuellen Lags... aber da die ROMs aktuell auf der SDKarte liegen ja eig. kein Wunder :)

Ich habe mir vom x10free Ordner eine Kopie gemacht weil die gerade Top läuft außer die bekannten Probleme keine reboots oder fehlermeldungen am besten nur wichtige apps raufschmeisen und nix deinstallieren

Na dieser Thread ist aber auch schon ziemlich unübersichtlich.

Vielleicht könnte jemand die Anleitung und Dl-links hier nochmal zusammenfassen, ich würds machen, bin aber per Handy online. Also wenn jemand lust hat?

Description:
Xperia X10 Froyo 2.2.1 rom is a fresh and clean build of latest AOSP, without any custom modifications. The first release (alpha build) is not fully suitable as main operating system, but still pretty ok for most of the tasks. The alpha build is compiled with engineering and debug flags, so please don't expect it to be fast or stable. It definitely will lag and crash every now and then. The main reason of releasing it is to gather as much end-user feedback as we can. Most of the issues are already addressed and being worked on (as described below), so I'm expecting BETA version to come in several days.

The BETA version will be flashable into your X10's flash memory and ready to be used as main (and only) system. For now, I feel like dual booting is the way to go (and hope you like the idea).


New features:

DUAL BOOT

Press any key during the boot process (right after "Sony Ericsson" text logo) to boot into 2.1 ROM. Otherwise it will boot into 2.2 Custom Rom.
There is a plan to prepare boot menu, this would allow us to multiboot (number of ROMs only limited by SD Card capacity:))


Known problems:
- no Audio playback (voice calls work)
- no native Video playback (RockPlayer works)
- camera - not implemented yet
- random reboots (identified - WIP)
- random lags (identified - WIP)
- slight radio issue - voice calls - sometimes (1 out of 25-30 for me) both you and the other person sound like a chipmunk :D (identified - WIP)


Requirements:

- 1GB of free space on SD Card
- phone needs to be rooted with busybox installed


Installation:
1. Download the rom package (FreeX10_alpha-release_0.0.1.tar.bz2)
2. Unpack it to the root (main folder) of your SD Card
3. Connect your phone in USB Debugging mode
4. Open ADB shell, switch to root user (SU)
5. Issue the command:

dd if=/sdcard/install of=/data/install && chmod 777 /data/install && /data/install
6. Reboot when installation is finished
7. Enjoy


Notes:

- the build comes pre-rooted and with busybox installed, there's no need to do it again.
- DON'T use the "factory reset" option in custom rom. It's hardcoded to wipe nand "data" partition!
- when message pops up "Force Close / Wait", select wait... it will eventually finish the task.
- this build IS very early alpha, bear in mind it will crash and lag. If you don't like it, try 2.1 AOSP build instead.
- first run may take up to 5 minutes, this is directly related to the lagging issue.
- remember you won't hear any ringtone, enabling "Vibrate:always" is good idea.
- be patient :) it gets much faster and less laggy over time, when everything is cached

This thread are meant for bug/problem solution and reported bug list of 2.2 custom ROM which i will try to manage, so people are not posting same bug, and asking for same solution all over again in X10 Custom ROM AOSP thread.

Limitation

Cannot Mount via USB
2.2 Custom ROM put the SYSTEM partition on your phone memory and the DATA partition in your SD card. That is why you cannot dismount the SD card from Android to mount to your PC.

No App2SD
2.2 Custom ROM is still running on 2.1 Custom Kernel which not supporting this.

Solutions for bugs

#0001 - How to enable WiFi on 2.2 Custom ROM
1. Try to enable WiFi, of course it will not work.. just do it.
2. WiFi will goes off automatically
3. Run
Code: 
adb shell /system/bin/wlan_tool
4. If the adb stucks, just press CTRL+C
5. Repeat step 4 until you crash the phone
6. After reboot, your WiFi will work.

or

and change into this

Na eig. sollte es eher so sein...

im 1. Post Quell URL... somit könnte jeder User den das Thema interessiert alles weitere bei der Quelle erfahren...

In der Regel ist die Quelle auch aktuell... da sich in dem Fall zB mehrere Personen um den Tread+Updates kümmern.

Aber nun ist der Tread hier erstmal wieder auf dem neusten Stand... bis ein paar User antworten... meine Quotes 1-3 Seiten weiter hinten sind... und keiner macht sich die mühe zu blättern und zu lesen :D

Das kann doch nicht so schwer sein einen link wie UKsheep erwänhnt hatte zu speichern! Hatte den link hier auch schon gepostet...An die FAULEN: einfach mal dei posts durchlesen lesen, denn das macht meistens schlauer!!

So zurück zum Thema: 2.2.1 läuft bei mir super!! Wenn Musik, Bluetooth und Internet vollständig fünktioniert, läuft es besser als das Original 2.1 und wird für mich dann Alltagstauglich... Warte schon sehnsüchtig auf das update!!

@UKsheep: Chipmunk stimmen! hahaha, das hatte ich auch dann wider neu Installiert und mit BackupTitanium das backup von 2.1 in 2.2.1 drüberlaufen lassen Neustarten und es hat funktioniert, jedoch nicht auf dauer manchmal klappts und manchmal wieder nicht:rolleyes::rolleyes::D
 
Hehe :) Ja also 2.2.1 ist auf jedenfall weitaus besser als das SE 2.1 und ich stehe auch auf die normale Optik von Android... :) Hoffe nur das sie es auchnoch schaffen den Bootloader zu knacken... damit wir endlich in den Genuss von echten Custom Rom´s kommen... mit angepasstem Kernel usw usw usw... denn dann würde unteranderem das WLan Tethering was in 2.2 enthalten ist funktionieren... so kann man es aktuell nur mit barnacle sharen...

Vllt. haben wir ja noch vor Weihnachten nen funktionierendes/Alltagtaugliches 2.2.1 Rom :) Das wär natürlich klasse :)
