✔ Magisk neu flashen schlägt fehl

Ich habe mein Magisk iwie zerschossen, indem ich das Verstecken wiederherstellt habe und die Optionen fehlten. Nun hab ich versucht die APK neu zu installieren, was nicht so gut klappte.
Stand ist: Die App startet nicht mehr und beendet sich direkt wieder. Hab die App dann deinstalliert und über TWRP wollte ich die zip nochmal drüber flashen. Sowohl das als auch das deinstallieren über TWRP schlägt mit der Meldung "magisk no digest file found" fehl. Wobei ich nicht so recht weiß, was damit gemeint ist. Vllt kann mir jemand helfen, wie ich das wieder zum laufen bekomme.

Ich hab den Fehler gefunden!!

Eines vorweg: Du solltest Lotto spielen! Du hast gleich 2 sehr, sehr seltene Fehler in TWRP zum Vorschein gebracht.
Deine Fehlermeldung betreffend findest du NICHTS im Netz, was mit einer Lösung zu hat. Ich hab mir letztendlich den Quellcode von TWRP angeguckt und bin zufälligerweise auf den anderen Fehler gestoßen, wodurch ich dann deinen auch aufklären konnte.

1. Fehler: Leerzeichen im Dateinamen!!
Das ist besonders in einer Shell sehr kritisch. Ein Leerzeichen trennt dort nämlich innerhalb eines Befehls die einzelnen Argumente voneinander. Kommt also ein Leerzeichen, ist Argument_1 zu Ende und es folgt Argument_2. Das sieht in TWRP dann folgendermaßen aus:

TWRP beachtet bei der Suche nach der Datei nur das, was vor dem Leerzeichen steht. Diesen Dateinamen gibt es aber nicht und das Flashscript bricht mit einer Fehlermeldung ab.
In der Shell muss das Leerzeichen innerhalb eines Dateinamens übrigens mit einem \ gekennzeichnet sein, dann gibt es solche Probleme nicht.

Test (1).zip => Test\ (1).zip

Das hat mich dann zu deinem Fehler gebracht.

Fehler 2: Die Dateiendung darf nicht großgeschrieben sein!
Frag mich nicht warum, aber es kommt ganz offensichtlich dadurch zu einem Konflikt.
Wenn du in den entsprechenden Quellcode reinschaust, ist es eine dermaßen verschachtelte Funktion in einer Funktion usw., dass man den Überblick verliert. Außerdem kenne ich mich nicht mit den Feinheiten der Syntax von C++ aus, um das nachvollziehen zu können.

Jedenfalls bedeutet "Checking Digest file" nicht, eine Datei mit einer Digest (Prüfsumme) zu verifizieren. Der Ausdruck bedeutet eigentlich "Digest of file", wobei hier "Digest" mit "Fingerabdruck" übersetzt werden muss.
TWRP überprüft einfach nur den Dateinamen und (genau da bin ich nicht ganz sicher) ob die Dateiendung .zip vorhanden ist. Das würde zumindest den Konflikt zwischen ".ZIP" und ".zip" etwas näher bringen. Aber da bin ich raus, das war mir alles zu abstrakt.
Aber ich konnte auch keine .zip flashen, deren Dateiname mit .ZIP endete.

Also, Datei umbenennen und nochmals versuchen zu flashen. ;-)

Bekomme es nicht hin. Es gibt auch nirgends die genannte Option.
Habe magisk jetzt im Default Pfad scheinbar wieder installieren können.
Wenn ich jetzt aber den Manager verbergen möchte, dann klappt das zwar. Aber nach einem reboot ist die versteckte Anwendung quasi tot (zeigt nur das magisk Menü ohne Optionen) und die Default Manager App wird im App drawer wieder gezeigt und auch nur die funktioniert vollumfänglich.
Hab die tote App dann wieder deinstalliert und lasse magisk jetzt über die Standard Installation laufen. Das klappt.

Ggf. liegt das daran, dass beim erstellen der versteckten Anwendung 2 Superuser Anfragen kommen, die man aber nicht beide beantworten kann, da kurz nach aufploppen die Anfrage geschlossen wird.

Das Problem mit der obigen Meldung bleibt dennoch. Würde mich freuen wenn ich wüsste wie ich flashe wenn bei jedem Versuch diese Meldung kommt.

Hab nochmal die neuste twrp geladen. Als Rom nutze ich die neuste crdroid.
Gerät ist das Poco F1.
Hatte auch bei XDA gelesen, dass man auf die neuste twrp aktualisieren soll. Aber die hab ich ja nun. Eine modifizierte twrp lade ich mir nur, wenn das Problem dort wörtlich gefixt wurde.
Also gibt's da bislang keine Lösung?
Eigentlich müsste die Meldung doch eindeutig sein. Die Einstellung muss man doch iwo vorfinden?

@bl3d2death Du hast die offizielle Version von twrp.me, die erst vor 5-6 Wochen veröffentlicht wurde. Mich wundert das auch...
Das Problem ist aber, dass es gar keine Einstellung diesbezüglich gibt. Die Digestprüfung gibt es nur für Backups. Das ist eine Prüfsumme, um die Datei zu verifizieren, damitt du kein beschädigtes Backup aufspielst. Bei .zips gibt es nur eine Signaturüberprüfung, die by default deaktiviert ist.

Ich würde an deiner Stelle entweder eine andere Version von Magisk probieren (aktualisiert sich eh beim Start des Managers) oder ein anderes TWRP probieren. Du musst es ja nicht flashen, sondern kannst es auch nur booten.

Das ist ja ne Einstellung die es hat nicht gibt. Da sind zwei Einstellungen die das Thema betreffen, keine hatte Auswirkungen auf den Fehler.

Ich hab den Fehler gefunden!!

Eines vorweg: Du solltest Lotto spielen! Du hast gleich 2 sehr, sehr seltene Fehler in TWRP zum Vorschein gebracht.
Deine Fehlermeldung betreffend findest du NICHTS im Netz, was mit einer Lösung zu hat. Ich hab mir letztendlich den Quellcode von TWRP angeguckt und bin zufälligerweise auf den anderen Fehler gestoßen, wodurch ich dann deinen auch aufklären konnte.

1. Fehler: Leerzeichen im Dateinamen!!
Das ist besonders in einer Shell sehr kritisch. Ein Leerzeichen trennt dort nämlich innerhalb eines Befehls die einzelnen Argumente voneinander. Kommt also ein Leerzeichen, ist Argument_1 zu Ende und es folgt Argument_2. Das sieht in TWRP dann folgendermaßen aus:

TWRP beachtet bei der Suche nach der Datei nur das, was vor dem Leerzeichen steht. Diesen Dateinamen gibt es aber nicht und das Flashscript bricht mit einer Fehlermeldung ab.
In der Shell muss das Leerzeichen innerhalb eines Dateinamens übrigens mit einem \ gekennzeichnet sein, dann gibt es solche Probleme nicht.

Test (1).zip => Test\ (1).zip

Das hat mich dann zu deinem Fehler gebracht.

Fehler 2: Die Dateiendung darf nicht großgeschrieben sein!
Frag mich nicht warum, aber es kommt ganz offensichtlich dadurch zu einem Konflikt.
Wenn du in den entsprechenden Quellcode reinschaust, ist es eine dermaßen verschachtelte Funktion in einer Funktion usw., dass man den Überblick verliert. Außerdem kenne ich mich nicht mit den Feinheiten der Syntax von C++ aus, um das nachvollziehen zu können.

Jedenfalls bedeutet "Checking Digest file" nicht, eine Datei mit einer Digest (Prüfsumme) zu verifizieren. Der Ausdruck bedeutet eigentlich "Digest of file", wobei hier "Digest" mit "Fingerabdruck" übersetzt werden muss.
TWRP überprüft einfach nur den Dateinamen und (genau da bin ich nicht ganz sicher) ob die Dateiendung .zip vorhanden ist. Das würde zumindest den Konflikt zwischen ".ZIP" und ".zip" etwas näher bringen. Aber da bin ich raus, das war mir alles zu abstrakt.
Aber ich konnte auch keine .zip flashen, deren Dateiname mit .ZIP endete.

Also, Datei umbenennen und nochmals versuchen zu flashen. ;-)

Sooo... habs mir jetzt mal in Ruhe durchgelesen. Klingt alles sehr schlüssig, auch wenn ich den Grund nicht ganz verstehe. So weiß ich zumindest für die Zukunft bescheid. Was mich irritiert, ist, dass ich beim Einrichten des Gerätes eigentlich auch die gleiche TWRP genutzt habe. Kann es sein, dass das Flashen beim ersten Einrichten mit "großer" Dateiendung bzw. Leerzeichen kein Problem darstellt?

@bl3d2death Ein Dateiname mit Leerzeichen und der großgeschriebenen Dateiendung wird immer zu einem Problem führen. Bei mir gab es auch sofort den gleichen Fehler mit .ZIP statt .zip.
Normalerweise heißt die Datei auch Magisk-vX.X.zip auf der offiziellen Seite Releases · topjohnwu/Magisk. Ich weiß jetzt nicht, wieso bei dir die Dateiendung groß ist. Aber das kommt halt eigentlich so gut wie gar nicht vor im Zusammenhang mit TWRP, dass jemand so eine Dateiendung verwendet. Daher ist der Fehler wahrscheinlich auch so selten.

Mich hat nur interessiert, welche Digest da gecheckt wird. Nachdem ich nämlich darauf geachtet habe, ist mir aufgefallen, dass alle .zips gecheckt werden in TWRP. Nur wie und warum war mich nicht klar. Jetzt weiß ich es ja.
