Hallo liebe Community. Ich bin Azubi als Programmierer in einer sehr kleinen Firma und versuche momentan per Buttonklick die aktuelle GPS- Position zu speichern und als String zu versenden. Allerdings Steht bei mir immer:

Lat : NULL
Long : NULL

Ich komm iwie einfach nicht weiter. Hat jemand einen tipp wodran ich mich Orientieren kann das ich endlich meine gps daten zusehen bekommen oder wo genau mein fehler liegt.
Die Permissions habe ich natürlich gesetzt und zwar :

Code:
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.INTERNET"/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE" />

Meine GPS-Klasse sieht so aus:

Code:
import android.app.AlertDialog;
import android.app.Service;
import android.content.Context;
import android.content.DialogInterface;
import android.content.Intent;
import android.location.Location;

import android.provider.Settings;
import android.util.Log;

            if(gps.canGetLocation()){ // gps enabled} // return boolean true/false

            gps.getLocation();
            //gps.getLatitude(); // returns latitude
        //    gps.getLongitude(); // returns longitude
            Toast.makeText(getApplicationContext(), "Your Location is - \nLat: " + latitude + "\nLong: " + longitude, Toast.LENGTH_LONG).show();
            }
            else {
            gps.showSettingsAlert();
            }
            skette = "1;"+"5;"+ rfid + ";" + kstand +";" + kstelle + ";" + purpose + ";" + login + ";" + IMEI + ";" + longitude+ ";" + latitude + ";";
            lbook.execute(rfid,kstand,kstelle,purpose,login,skette,IMEI,longt,latt);
