Schön, eine neue Kitkat-Rom - habe ich mal wieder was zum Basteln. Im XDA-Thread gibt es zusätzlich auch einen Link für "offizielle Release". Da mir die Gapps zu groß geraten sind und ich den, für mich, Müll dann wieder händisch entsorgen muß, werde ich es mal bei der Installation mit der 17 Mb Core-Version von Banks versuchen.

Nach Installation muß ich feststellen: Respekt ! Habe die Stable, das Release vom 4.1. genommen. Zum Akkuverbrauch kann ich logischerweise noch nichts sagen. Die Rom ist zwar in etwa ähnlich der SlimKat, aber ich behaupte sogar: derzeit besser. Was mir auffiel: die Rom hatte sofort Root nach Installation (die interne SuperSu ähnlich oder gleich SlimKat), aber als ich einige chinesische (?) System-Apps deinstallieren wollte mittels Titanium, versagte es. Trotz mehrfacher versuche und dazwischen immer Reboots. Mit der Installation von SuperSu war das Spiel dann erledigt. Scheint wohl eine chinesische Rom zu sein - merkt man sofort, wenn man den internen Browser aufruft. Ergo... Ausprobieren lohnt in jedem Fall.

Ich hab mir die Rom nach Anleitung rauf gezogen, komme jedoch nicht ins O2 Netz. Keine anrufe, nichts mehr möglich!

Hat jemand eine Idee??

Hey ich habe es endlich wieder hinbekommen Danke für die Tipps.

Aber nun ist die 17.1.14 stabile raus und ich wollte diese OTA installieren, bekomme aber den Status7 Fehler.

Ich muss doch mal eine Lanze brechen für die Custom-Rom
Bisher mit einer meiner absoluten Favoriten. Läuft absolut rund, hat keine auffallenden Fehler im Alltagsgebrauch oder sonstige Aussetzer und die Akkulaufzeit ist auch klasse. Ansonsten verträgt die ROM sich auch perfekt mit Gustavos Kernels. Also bei meiner Frau ihrem S2 bleibt die Rom jetzt definitiv drauf. Ich selbst Versuch mich noch ein wenig

Obwohl KK mit der Stock Camera App mittlerweile die Fotos auf der Speicherkarte ablegen kann, fehlt diese Option bei dieser ROM. Sehr schade.

Bei der 30.01.2014 Version tritt wieder das STATUS7 Problem auf

Mal eine Frage... ich habe mir das auch heute raufgezogen weil mich das Multi Window interessiert hat aber irgendwie finde ich es nicht (auch vieles was in der Feature genannt wird ist nicht drin :-( )

Weiß jemand näheres?

Hi Community, ich komme nicht ganz mit den OTA Updates klar. Immer wieder bekomme ich status7 was mache ich nur falsch?

Ps: musste bisher immer die stabile Version laden, alles clearen und dann neu installieren!
