[A701][ROM][4.2.2][AOKP/CM/PA/PIE] 7comp based on RootBox [auch A510/A700]

Liebe Leute,

ohne viele Worte zu verlieren, bei XDA gibt es seit einigen Tagen eine neue CFW für das heißgeliebte A701 (und andere)! EDIT: leider nicht mehr... siehe Post #2 unten! (Stand 16.04.2013)

Da ich Besitzer des A701 bin, freut es mich natürlich sehr, dass hier nun neben Moscow Desires Firmware ([ROM][A701][JB 4.1.1]Evil Alex Purgatory [03/04/2013] - xda-developers) auch eine weitere das Licht der Welt erblickt hat!
Hinzuzufügen ist (mit Stand 13.04.2013), dass 3G beim A701 noch nicht richtig funktioniert!

Ich bin nicht der größte Fan der Firmware (ist mir, wie man natürlich vorher schon an der Featureliste der CFW erkennen kann, viiiel zu viel Zeug drin, aber was soll der Geiz )

Wer dennoch interesse hat oder einfach mal reinschauen will, der darf dies gerne hier tun!

Installation:

1. Install CWM recovery from

2. Do a Nandroid Backup!
3. Install the ROM using ClockworkMod Recovery
4. Optionally install the Google Apps Addon
5. Wipe data/factory reset if coming from stock or another ROM

Für A701 Besitzer
Bis auf weiteres wird an dem Projekt nicht weiter gearbeitet, da der Entwickler des Kernels (A701 build based on modified Kernel by Odiv) sein Werk vorerst nicht anderen zur Verfügung stellen möchte.
Diese Entscheidung muss man respektieren. Somit wird die Entwicklung für das A701 vorerst auf Eis gelegt.
Die ROM für das A700 ist mit dem A701 kompatibel, jedoch geht 3G nicht (also kein Unterschied zum momentanen Stand, da 3G in der aktuellen Fassung "7comp-JB-a701-Nightly-20130413" auch nicht funktioniert...).

Odiv does not want to share his work for the moment.
I respect his decision, there will be no more build for A701 based on his Kernel.

I will continue to update A700 & A510 versions, based on CM Kernel. The A700 version will be A701 compatible, but without 3G.

If a dev publishes a Kernel / source version of the A701, then I will continue to build the A701, or if I can make the CM Kernel works with A701 (but it might be hard for me)

Alle anderen dürfen sich natürlich weiter über die ROM freuen und fleißig Berichten

habs noch nicht ausprobiert. werde erstmal von meinem installierten CM10.1 ein backup machen.

hat man bei 7Comp auch wieder die A700 typischen ruckler wie bei CM und Stock ?
denk aber mal schon da sich am Kernel ja nicht großartig was geändert hat.
