Mit der letzten Version habe ich jetzt immer mal wieder WLAN Abbrüche! Ob es am kernel oder Rom liegt kann ich nicht genau sagen...

ich habe die heute geflasht, läuft einwandfrei, aber leider waren Standard Android Tastatur nicht dabei, obwohl ich die aktuellste GAPPS installiert hatte. waren nur Voice Tastatur eingebaut/installiert und die war fehlerhaft (nicht zu gebrauchen!) da musste ich Android Keyboard 4.2 manuell per Bluetooth übertragen und installieren.. und jetzt gehts rund!

Hallo,
Ich habe mir gestern auf mein N7 die Purity geflasht.
Ich muss sagen die Rom lief bisher sehr flüssig (bis auf die Einrichtung mit Google Account das war ein wenig buggy). Habe dann gleich hinterher den ElementalX 2.6 Kernel geflasht und das Tab vollgeladen.Der Akkuverbrauch ist super ich habe es um ca. 16.00 Uhr geladen( da hatte es so um die 40%) und um 17.30 war es voll, und selbst jetzt habe ich noch 75% obwohl ich es auch die ganze Zeit benutzt hatte (bis auf 7Stunden standby die Nacht). Leistung und Performance sind auch Klasse.

Mich beschäftigt nur eine Sache, wie ist es dann wenn Android 4.4.3 oder so rauskommt wie kann ich die Rom updaten da kein Updater unter den Einstellungen eingebaut ist?!

Erstens wurde ich mal den aktuellen ElementalX kernel Flaschen 2.9 wenns nicht sogar schon ne 3er Version gibt.
Updaten geht ganz einfach neue Version laden und nur mit kleinen wipe oder sogar dirthy drüberflashen inkl gapps versteht sich

Also einfach dann Wipe Cache/Dalvik ,dann Rom installieren und dann Gapps?
Und wie ists dann mit dem Kernel ist der ist dann weg oder wie?

Stock Kernel ist immer bei jeden Custom ROM drin/dabei vorausinstalliert sonst bootet Android gar nicht mehr..

wenn du eine andere Kernel vorher geflasht hast wird durch ein anderen die bei Custom ROM installiert ist drübergebügelt und die alte die drauf war wird gelöscht.

So hab jetzt ElementalX 2.10.1 drauf und noch eine Frage (ich bin heute wieder eine Nervensäge) die Swype-Funktion der Tastatur geht nicht. Immer wenn ich swypen will stürzt die ab, wie kann ich das fixen?

Swype deinstallieren, neu installieren oder entwender updaten wenn verfügbar ist. ich bevorzuge SwiftKey
