How to flash:

• Download ROM and place it on your virtual SD card
• Boot your phone in recovery mode (vol up + power)
• In main menu, select "install zip from sdcard"
• Select "choose zip from sdcard" and browse to the location of Android Revolution ROM
• You can use data wiping option in AROMA (optionally if coming from earlier version of my ROM, obligatory if coming from stock or other custom ROM)
• After flashing process is complete, reboot the device

Performance Tweaks for Android Revolution HD​

• data_writeback journalism for /system, /data and /cache partitions.

This mod will turn ON data_writeback for all 3 partitions - system, data and cache. This will drastically improve I/O performance (mostly on write operations) at the expense of file system integrity in certain situations, like unexpected system shutdown. The risk is not extreme, but still bigger then regular. Use this to improve your system performance, but you flash it at your own risk!

Android Revolution HD EXT4 Tweaks v.0.1​

• Force GPU rendering on 2D operations.

This mod is working similar to "Render GUI with GPU" option in Development Settings. Flashing this will force whole system to use GPU rendering (instead of CPU) for all kind of 2D/3D operations. This might improve 2D operations performance, but keep in mind that some apps are not working correctly with GPU rendering. After using this mod you no longer need to tick "Render GUI with GPU" in settings. Even if un-ticked it will be still working. Flash it at your own risk!

Compatibility Pack for N8010 & N8013

Da dieser ROM auf dem N8000 ROM basiert und Mike1986 keine extra Varianten für die N8010 und N8013 User machen wird, habe ich mit Ihm zusammen einen Compatibility Pack für alle N8010 und N8013 User gemacht.

Was macht dieses Compatibility Pack?

1) Ändern den Gerätetyp auf N8010 oder N8013 (je nachdem was man im AROMA Installer auswählt),
2) Entfernt nicht mehr benötigte Apps die für die Telefonie und SMS/MMS zuständig waren
3) Entfernt die Netzanzeige Icons aus der SystemUI (durch die Installation einer modifizierten SystemUI.apk)
4) Deaktiviert die Telefon- und SMS Funktion mittels einer geänderten framework-res.apk
5) Added das Originale Reboot Menu vom N8010 /N8013 ohne die Datennetz Option
6) Added Kernel für N8010 (from CMD2) und N8013 (from CMD3)



It can be flashed over any ROM based on GT-N8000 XXCMJ3 firmware.

So nun ist der Thread fertig erstellt!!

Ich möchte direkt eins klarstellen: ICH BIN NICHT DER ENTWICKLER!!! Der ROM ist von Mike1986 aus dem XDA Forum und somit gehen alle Credits und Danke an Ihn.

Und in der aktuellen Version 3.0 ist kein DBT Code vorhanden sondern nur ein EUR. Somit trotzdem in Deutsch zu nutzen...

Da ich für diesen ROM auch ein paar MODs angepasst habe und ich persönlich den ROM sehr gelungen finde, möchte ich Ihn auch hier vorstellen

Ich habe ihn aktuell auf meinem Note laufen und er ist extrem flüssig und stabil.... er ist Stock und es wurden keine Apps oder sonstiges entfernt... er hat den ROM einfacher schneller und besser gemacht. Ich habe es zuerst selbst nicht glauben können aber es ist wirklich so.....

Für die Installation benötigt ihr mind. CWM 6.0.3.0 oder das TWRP!

ich habe grade diese rom instalirt,und es wierklich sehr flüsig und stabil,am anfang hatte ich ein problem,es stand in CWM bei jede start E: can't open /cache/recovery/ log und E: can't open /cache/recovery/ last_logich hab dann CWM 6.0.2.7 fon darkman(megarespekt für mods und für cwm) und das stand trotzdem,zum glück habe ich lösung gefunden (wipe cache)jetzt habe ich eine frage,bei diese rom steht in download mode sistem status official ))und auch in eistelung status offiziel aber nicht immer ,nach dem restart kann auch benutzerdeniert stehen ,es stört nstürlich garnicht,aber is irgentwie cooler offiziel ,wie kann ich machen,dass immer off status bleibt

Immer diese Fangfragen *g* natürlich meinen!!! Nee also mal im Ernst aktuell nutze ich selber diesen hier... zwar Hauptsächlich zum testen aber er sieht wirklich gut aus.

Bezüglich des CWM habe ich mal eine ZIP fertig gemacht, womit man das 6.0.1.1 einfach über CWM flashen kann.... ich habe die geflasht, dann den ROM geflasht und bin wieder zurück auf meine 6.0.2.7 .. so kann man schnell und einfach das Recovery tauschen / wechseln.

Ja den Effekt hatte ich auch beim wechsel.. ich habe es aber einfach ignoriert und bin nach der Installation wieder zurück auf 6.0.2.7

Das System scant deine Installation nach jedem Reboot... warum er nur manchmal auf Benutzerdefiniert geht und manchmal nicht, dafür habe ich jetzt keine Erklärung...

Geht die Installation statt mit CWM 6.0.1.1 evtl. auch mit TWRP 2.3.3.0 ?

Da mein Dateisystem schon auf 4.2-Norm ist, möchte ich ungern auf das alte CWM zurück, und schon gar nicht damit flashen.

Wie wirkt sich das 6.0.2.7 denn aus? Geht gar nichts oder verliere ich nur den Einfluss auf den Rom-Umfang ?

Meines Wissens funktioniert das TWRP auch!

Mit dem CWM 6.0.2.7 startet der AROMA Installer und friert nach dem ersten oder zweiten "Touch" ein ... mehr passiert nichts... also absolut gefahrlos. Es muss "nur" der Touch kalibriert werden und das geht in dem aktuellen AROMA Script nicht mehr... deswegen müssen wir warten auf eine neue AROMA Version!

Das stimmt da muss ich dir recht geben... aber der DEV ist sehr nett.. ich habe aktuell sehr viel Kontak mit ihm.... kommt aus Polen evt deswegen die langsame Leitung

Ich habe das 8010 und Darkmans 8010 Rom läuft da bis dato am besten drauf
Der ganze Kram von wegen für Model X Y oder Z anpassen schmeckte mir eh nicht, wollte aber trotzdem mal testen.

Ansich bestimmt nicht schlecht aber nicht meine Wahl.

Hatte es gestern mal geladen (läppige 3 Stunden) und muss sagen: rennt wie sau. Mir gefällt es nach ein paar kleinen optischen Anpassungen und entfernen von einigen Prammen sehr gut. Der Akkuverbrauch soll ja auch optimiert sein - kann aber noch nichts genaues dazu sagen.
Hatte bis jetzt das Redemption 3.2, welches mir auch sehr gut gefallen hat. Das Revolution ist aber noch einen Zacken flüssiger.
So unterschiedlich können die Meinungen sein.

ich habe auch gestern geladen,am anfang war auch ganz toll,shnell mit menü offnen usw, dann kamm verschiedene mods(audio mod ,4 way reboot ,baterie)eine menge von programmen,und jetz is nicht so shnell)))aber stabil,ich finde im moment ,es ist eine von beste rom,bisl umständlich instalieren , aroma schuld)))
