Warum findet mein Telefon kein Update?
Das Update wird in der Regel erst nach 21h freigeschaltet.

Warum dauert das Update so lange?
Das Pixel hat zwei Partitionen, das Betriebssystem ist quasi doppelt im Speicher.
Wenn ein Update kommt, wird es auf die nicht verwendete Version aufgespielt.
Anschließend werden Apps/Einstellungen von der aktiven Version mit der bislang nicht verwendeten abgeglichen.
Schließlich wird der Cache aller Apps zurückgesetzt (Optimierung).
Wenn das alles erledigt ist, wird man zum Neustart aufgefordert.
Dabei wird dann auf die bislang nicht verwendete Version mit erfolgtem Update umgeschaltet.

Damit man das Telefon währenddessen weiter nutzen kann, passiert das alles im Hintergrund mit niedriger Priorität.
Deshalb dauert es, und deshalb ist es egal, ob das Update nur ein kB oder mehrere MB groß ist.
Denn nicht die Änderung dauert, sondern das danach.

Der Vorteil ist, läuft beim Update etwas schief, kann auf die Version vor dem Update umgeschaltet werden.

Tipp: Wenn ein Update kommt, Abends ans Netzteil, Update starten und am nächsten Morgen neu starten.

Warum ist der Google Play Sicherheitsstand nicht aktuell?
Das Google-Play-Systemupdate ist unabhängig vom monatlichen Pixel-Sicherheitsupdate.
Es ist also durchaus normal, wenn der Google Play Sicherheitsstand älter ist!

• Fix for issue causing display brightness level to adjust when switching between user profiles

Ist es bei euch auch so das beim ersten runterziehen zu den Benachrichtigungen wieder die Akku % angezeigt werden und beim komplett runterziehen für alle 8 Schnellzugriffe wird die berechnete Zeit eingeblendet?
Finde es so auf jeden Fall besser

Irgendwie klappt bei mir gar nichts gut das mit Autounfall Erkennung war zu erwarten. Aber weder finde ich diesen Emoji Workshop noch das mit den 3D Wallpaper, aber das mit dem Laden klappt auf einmal sehr präzise. 100 % knapp 3 Minuten vor dem Wecker.

Oder bin ich zu Dusselig das menü für die Emojis / 3d Wallpaper zu finden ?

@UweBo Ah jetzt einmal Handy Neustarten und tada Update im Playstore und nochmal neu starten und geht. Turn it off and On Again hilft wohl doch immer

Mal so am Rande geht der Neustart viel Fixer seid dem Update gestern oder bilde ich mir das ein ??

Ist bei unseren beiden 6 Pro auch so mit der Akkuanzeige. War vor dem Juni-Patch definitiv anders. Da wurde dann sofort die geschätzte Restlaufzeit angezeigt, sobald man die Leiste ein mal runtergezogen hat.

Bei unseren beiden 6 Pro und dem 6a funktioniert das mit dem Auslösen eines Selfie-Bildes mit der Handgeste auch nicht. Hatte mir hierzu gestern noch einige Videos auf Youtube angesehen. Vielleicht muss da auch erst noch ein Update für die Kamera kommen.

Die App Emoji Workshop hat sich bei mir auch automatisch installiert,. Heute morgen kam dann ein Google Play Systemupdate, und nach dem Neustart geht jetzt auch alles bei mir.

Hallo Leute,

der Emoji Workshop wurde auf unseren drei Geräten gestern auch installiert. Das funktioniert jetzt.

Heute kam auch ein Update für die Kamera. Jetzt funktioniert auch die Hand-Geste bei den Selfies. Das hatte ich mir aber auch schon so gedacht, dass es erst noch ein Update für die Kamera braucht.

Hab gerade das Update für die Kamera erhalten. Funktioniert bei mir aber trotzdem nicht.

Update: nach einem Neustart funktioniert es nun endlich.

Achtung! Ihr müsst den Timer im Menü aktivieren und Eure Hand ziemlich gerade halten! Finger zusammen halten und nicht gespreizt!
