Cronos 1.2.0 Android 2.2

Hatte gestern auch das Problem mit GPS, es gab da schon mal einen Fix für, aber für eine andere Cronos Version.
Texte grad mit Feeyo darüber, beobachte mal folgenden Thread:

Optimal, nachdem ich die Server geaddet hatte, hatte ich innerhalb von 30sekunden nen Fix!
Meine gps.conf sieht also jetzt so aus:

NTP_SERVER=0.de.pool.ntp.org
NTP_SERVER=1.de.pool.ntp.org
NTP_SERVER=2.de.pool.ntp.org
NTP_SERVER=3.de.pool.ntp.org
XTRA_SERVER_1=http://xtra1.gpsonextra.net/xtra.bin
XTRA_SERVER_2=http://xtra2.gpsonextra.net/xtra.bin
XTRA_SERVER_3=http://xtra3.gpsonextra.net/xtra.bin
SUPL_HOST=supl.google.com
SUPL_PORT=7276

Probier das auch mal!

Gibt es diese gps.conf schon irgendwo, oder muss ich sie mir noch erstellen und einbinden?

Die Datei ist schon auf deinem hero. Glaub aber mit der Anleitung dürfte es auch gehen. Erstell halt die Datei mit dem Inhalt aus meinem Post. Vllt vorher ein nandroid Backup machen falls was nicht klappt.

Es klappt nicht Ich bekomme dir originale gps.conf nicht beschreibbar. Im Texteditor ist der Schreibschutz noch aktiv und mit dem Konsolenbefehl
su
remount rw
klappt's auch nicht --> remount not found.



Wie kann ich meinem Editor su-Rechte geben?

Kenn mich mit den Editor commands nicht aus. Ich mach sowas immer über adb. Hast du adb bzw das android sdk installiert? Damit wäre es einfacher. Per adb Pull System/etc/GPS.conf ziehst du die Datei auf den PC, veränderst die mit dem editor und per adb push GPS.conf System/etc schiebst du die Datei wieder aufs Handy.

Ich hab ein kleines Problem und zwar wenn ich mein Wlan starte kommt nach ein paar sekunden die meldung "fehler" und nicht mehr , kann mir jemand evtl. helfen?!

Nur Fehler?? Da steht nichts weiter? Startest du über nen WIdget oder direkt in den Einstellungen?

Ich wüsste da jetzt keinen besonderen Tip... du könntest mal probieren im Recovery Cache und Dalvik Cache zu wipen. Dadurch wird nichts wichtiges gelöscht und manchmal behebt das Probleme. Der boot danach dauert nur länger, so lange wie der erste Boot nach neu aufspielen des Roms.
Aber wie gesagt, wichtiges wird nicht gelöscht, also du brauchst kein Backup oder so. ( wobei nandroid backup ja nie schaden kann *g*).

Um was für ein flykernel 11 geht es hier denn eigentlich?

Kann bei bei den cronos rom den nehmen?

These kernels incorporate the values I found best as described here.
Additionally they come in various flavors according to your speed and boot animation / no boot animation preferences - this will OC from the very begging of boot.

FlyKernel-11 for CM6 with boot animation:
528/176 (no OC) | 576/176 | 614/176 | 653/176 | 672/176 | 691/176 | 710/176 | 729/176 | 748/176

FlyKernel-11 for CM6 with NO boot animation:

Weil da ja only (only for CM6 based ROMs: Floyo, Elelinux, Froyd) steht.

Und nichts von cronos.

Naja,da wurde halt nicht weiter getested!
Beinhalten/basieren ja irgendwie trotzdem alle auf CyanogenMod6!

Der aktuellste Cronos Kernel lief auch ohne Probleme beim Floyo Android 2.2
ROM

Hi guys,

I know there has not been a lot of updates to the latest 1.3.0 release but it was running so nicely that I did not really thought it needed any fast hotfix nor updates as there were no real big changes to the sources to make you guys flash something.
So for all the users who went to flash some other rom as I know a lot of you guys need something to flash once in a few days lol

Here you go a new version with some improvements a lot of these have been with code clean ups and optimizations.
So probably not really noticeable from the user experience itself.

I hope this build will fix the video issue that some users are having and the same counts for the GPS issues some users also have.
Also the kernel is now configured to use frequency 264Mhz as minimum on default settings so that the battery will not be drain too fast when sleeping. And I also configured the kernel its maximum speed to a step lower then the 1.3.0 version.
This also with the same reason for not to drain too much battery for the non OC users out there.

Now go on and flash and keep me updated. Enjoy your Hero to the max

A little performance hint:
Disable the window animations with Spareparts. This will greatly improve the rom.

Note: Please reboot after any flash you do. This is very important.

How to flash cronos roms:
1. Wipe
2. Flash ROM
3. reboot
4. Flash Hot Fix (If any)
5. reboot
6. flash kernel (If any updates)
7. reboot

Gab ein Problem mit App2SD deshalb jetzt noch ein neues:

Es wurde im Vergleich zur 1er Version nur der Bug mit App2SD behoben.

CM Stuff wurde auch angepasst, inkl dem Widget in der Notification Bar. Sehr nice =)

Natürlich
Läuft bei mir seit gestern.
Bisher keinerlei Probleme und mit dem Galaxy S Theme aus dem Cronos Forum auch ein optischer Leckerbissen.
Funktioniert alles, hab nur meine gps.conf angepasst und habe jetzt Sat fixes innerhalb von ein paar Sekunden.
Alles bestens also Super schnell , keine FC's... wie immer, sobald Feeyo eine neue Version raus bringt, mein Standard Rom.
