PI-hole installieren

Das PI-hole gehört nur bedingt zur Smarthome-Installation.
da wir aber alle schädlichen Tracking-geschichten auch von IObroker fernhalten wollen, ist PI-hole eine ausgezeichnete Lösung, insbesonders deshalb, weil das gesamte Heimnetz geschützt wird.

Wie Ihr eine SD-Karte flasht, habe ich Euch ja schon hier gezeigt: IObroker installieren

Wieder im Boot-Ordner die Datei ssh hinzufügen. Ihr habe die ja noch von der IObroker-Installation.
Wenn Ihr die IP-Adresse nach dem ersten Start Eures Raspberry-PC's herausgefunden habt, meldet Ihr Euch da User: pi Passwort: raspberry an.
Danach aktualisiert Ihr das System mit
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

Danach installiert Ihr gleich pi-hole mit:
curl -sSL https://install.pi-hole.net | bash

Dann heißt es wieder warten, bis PI-hole installiert ist.
dazwischen ein paar Fragen zum netzwerk und den Eimnstellungen beantworten.
man kann die Einstellungen so lassen, wie sie sind.

Wenn die Installation fertig ist, wird noch ein Passwort generiert. Dieses bitte notieren oder kopieren.
Dann meldet Ihr Euch das erste mal bei pi hole an:

Nun ist etwas Feintuning zu machen.
Zuerst meldet Ihr Euch bei der Fritzbox an, geht in den Reiter Heimnetzwerk ----> Netzwerkeinstellungen---> IP-Adressen ändern.
Unter den Einstellungen findet Ihr die Einstellungen für den DNS-Server. da gebt Ihr die IP-Adresse Eures pi hole ein., speichert das ganze und bestätigt es mit Eurem Telefon, das angeschlossen ist.

Im Internet findet man tausende von Internet-Adressen wo die Blocklisten hinterlegt sind.
bitte geht behutsam damit um, es könnte sonst sein, daß auch Adressen gesperrt werden, Die Ihr noch braucht.
Die Installation und Konfiguration ist in ca 30 Minuten erledigt.

Pihole läuft bei mir erst seit etwa einer Stunde. Bisher läuft alles super. Hatte gedacht dass ich den Port für Iobroker ändern muss aber dem ist wohl nicht so. Iobroker läuft weiterhin unauffallig. Eine Frage noch, bei den Einstellungen in der Fritzbox gibt es ja primäre und sekundäre DNS Adressen. Hast du da bei beiden die IP des Pihole eingetragen?

Iobroker läuft bei mir auf einem Rock 64 mit 4gb RAM.

Habe nun mein ganzes Netzwerk über das Pihole laufen (DNS Adresse in der FB auf das Pihole geändert). Die IP Adresse des Iobroker habe ich auf die Whitelist gesetzt und habe somit keine Probleme dies bezüglich.

Ich glaube da hast du Recht jedoch kommen sich die beiden Anwendungen (zumindest bei mir) nicht in die Quere. Habe ebenfalls Iobroker und zwei Pihole laufen. Funktioniert alles ohne Probleme.
