Ubuntu für Rockchip RK3066

Wo willst du reinkommen, was läuft in dem Terminal ab? Schick mir am Besten mal nen Screenshot/Foto von dem Terminal. Wenn das Ubuntu nicht richtig auf dem USB-Stick/SD-Karte installiert ist bleibt das Terminal genau da stehen. Ich lade das 1.5a nochmal in meine Dropbox und schick dir nen Link, wär außerdem nett von den Leuten die es bei mir gezogen haben es auchmal bereit zu stellen.

Ist es möglich auf so einem Stick mit Ubuntu BLENDER zu starten?
Kann man sich dann einfach Blender Arm-Version von Ubuntu irgendwo holen oder irgendwie selbst kompilieren?

Ich würde mal gerne testen wie schnell so ein Stick ist.
Nach meiner Suche hat der Chip etwa 100 MegaFlops, während ein neuer Intel-Prozessor 30.000 Megaflops bringt (also 300 x schneller)

Ich kann es echt kaum glauben, denn der Stick macht einen flotten Eindruck.


Meine Idee war zuerst sowas wie eine kleine Renderfarm aufzubauen - mit zukünftigen 4-Kern-Chips RK3188 (wenn es auch Linux dafür gibt) - dann 16 Stück nebeneinander Parallel oder so... Aber bei so wenig Megaflops wäre das leider nichts...

wie komme ich bei picuntu vom terminal in den desktop-modus.Strg-alt-f7 funktioniert nicht.

So habe es Installiert und muss sagen einfach Super fürn Anfang.Leider kann ich den den Display nicht in der Auflösung runterstufen(bis jetzt:breicht folgt bei Lösung),Deutsche Sprachdatei lässt sich locker installieren.Tastatur mit deutschen Layout klappt.Flüssig finde ich läuft es nicht vielleicht weil ich die Sache mit nem USB-Stick gemacht habe(bericht folgt wenn meine SD-Karte ankommt.).
Bin mal gespannt was da noch alles kommen wird besonders wegen dem Grafikchip und so.Wird auf jedenfall wenn es fertig ist besser wie jedes Android

ich hab einen UG007 und hab finless 1.7 ROM drauf installiert In Folge wollte ich Picuntu installieren da Android als Betriebsystem nicht in Frage kommt. Leider hat dies nicht geklappt

Dieses Tool habe ich leider nirgends finden können

Mit meinem Windows PC und Ubuntu 12.10 von DVD laufend habe ich einfach mal versucht Step 3 auszuführen, was nicht geklappt hat weil mein PC in Verbindung mit Ubuntu keinen internet Zugang aufgebaut hat (was an meine PC Einstellungen liegt und mit dieser Aktion nicht im Zusammenhang steht!).

Ein Freund und Linuxexperte hat mir versucht zu helfen. Er sagte das der Stick 2 Partitionen hat und er nicht auf die boot Partition zugreifen kann und damit das Picuntu nicht installieren kann.

Ich hab in dieser ganzen Angelegenheit nur ein hilfloses Halbwissen weshalb es gut möglich ist das ich etwas falsch verstanden hab oder falsch gemacht habe.

Ich möchte gern nur Ubuntu verwenden, weshalb Android gern überschrieben werden kann.

Freue mich über Hinweise was ich nun tun kann

Dabei hab ich irgendwo auch gelesen das dieser auch für den UG007 funktioniert - was ja auch soweit geklappt hat.

Hab den 1.7 ROM Dateiordner noch mal durchgesehen und dieses Program dabei nicht gefunden

Hier gibt es den Link zur inoffiziellen aber originalen FW für den UG007:

hast du einen übertakteten Kernel installiert? Wenn ja, welchen? Ich denke mal, dass bei zu hoher Taktung der Stick wohl dauernd abstürzen wird, oder?
Scheinbar gibt´s aber Probleme mit dem Sound, wenn man einen der übertakteten Kernel installiert.

Hab die 1272'iger Version genommen. Zum Einen brauche ich die höhere Taktzahl nicht, bis jetzt lief alles schnell genug, und zum Anderen wollte/will ich auch nichts riskieren.

hm, das mit dem firmware update schien super einfach zu sein, leider hat es nicht geklappt vermutlich weil ich eben schon das finless Rom 1.7 aufgespielt hab. Ich bekomm eine Fehlermeldung, das das firmware update failed

Hatte gehofft über das firmware update eine neue Basis für meinen Picuntu Instalationsprozess hab.

Was soll ich jetzt machen???

This is where you would download

- modules-3.0.8-alok-RC3.1.tgz - <<---- [Edit: Feb 6th, 2013] Notice the change, I had missed adding the serial port modules - ftdsio, pl2303, garmin, namvman, qualcom serial devices etc... Now added.... kernel remains same.

Install instructions
You DO NOT need to change the linuxrootfs (YET ! - the final PicUntu- 0.9 RC3 will require ) . Whatever you have downloaded should work out of the box for this new kernel/modules
Step 1: Download the modules.
Step 2: untar it in /lib/modules .

tar -xzf modules-3.0.8-alok-RC3.tgz -C /lib/modules

After untarring, you should get a directory
/lib/modules/3.0.8-alok+
it should have a sub-dir 'ḱernel' and many modules.* file
Step 3: Flash the kernel over the recovery partition.
Step 4: Boot PicUntu
Step 5: Once into linux - use root to login
Step 6: run

depmod -a

Step 7: Supress debug
echo 0 > /proc/sys/kernel/hung_task_timeout_secs

Step 7: Reboot
Step 8: Now you can check what is working - what is not, starting with networking
Step 9: Get cpufreq working.

apt-get install cpufrequtils

Step 10: Get conky (nice system monitor
apt-get install conky

Run with
conky -d


Tips/Warning :!:
1. If you have added any modules on PicUntu - they will NOT work, you need to let me know, what specific module you have compiled. Either, I can compile them for you, or you would need to recompile them with the new source, or /proc/config.gz

2. The cpufreq governor is set to PERFORMANCE - which means, it would try to run at 1.6GHz. At this speed, without heatsink - your device can very quickly run up to very high temperatures...


Keep an eye out for system temperature with (in degree celcius)
cat /sys/module/tsadc/parameters/temp* | cut -d " " -f1,2

Some useful commnds for cpufreq
Setting up governors (I assure you, you WILL burn your device, if you do NOT know, how to use the cpufreq effectively)
To set cpu governor as userspace (You can directly force cpu speed ONLY with this governor)
cpufreq-set -g userspace #if you want direct control of the cpu speed
cpufreq-set -g ondemand # safest
cpufreq-set -g conservative # least power consumption

To get a list of speeds you can set
cpufreq-info -s

To set max frequency (only userspace)
cpufreq-set -u <freq>

Min frequency
cpufreq-set -d <freq>

Current speed
cpufreq-info -w

Current settings
cpufreq-info -o

3. Is your Cortex A9, hot enough - Read this http://ssvb.github.c...-cortex-a9.html article to download and test, how hot you can drive your USB Stick. :!:

4. I have not been able to compile oprofile, primarily due to paucity of time, would like someone to do that - and provide a step-by-step script to include in release.

Summary
This is a powerful and very flexible kernel - you can play with it to be what you want... but please be careful - there is a very high degree of chance that you would burn/damage your device, if this is not used properly.

Tja, irgendwie kommt da weniger, als erwartet. So lange das Ganze ohne die richtigen Treiber läuft, ist das nicht altagstauglich. Nur was für Freaks.....

d.h. du hast den RC 3 Kernel für Picuntu und Picuntu installiert?
Wo klemmt es bei dir?
Ich will einfach nur Ubuntu zum surfen, für LibreOffice, mails schreiben und vielleicht mal 'nen youtube Video ansehen. WLAN z.B. hab ich nicht und brauch ich auch nicht. Meinst du dafür wird es gehen?

Youtube funzt net.Hat keine hardwarebeschleunigung und ist viel zu Langsam.Abwarten wie sich die Sache entwickelt.Fand es in der Bedinung nicht so prickelnd.Da biste mit nen Bob-Finless und Externel Keyhelper näher am Desktop-Ersatz dran.Fand aber ganz cool das es eine Android-Alternative gibt für die Sticks.

also mein Problem liegt in der Tat darin, dass ich keine Ahnung hab.

Ich will Lubuntu auf dem Stick zum laufen bringen aber es klappt nicht.
ne deutsche Anleitung wäre genial.

Was ich schon tat:
1. MicroSD Card mit einem ISO to USB Programm Bootfähiges Lubuntu bespielt.
2. Das Oben genante auch mit einem USB Stick getan.
3. Beim Starten des MK808 (Spannungsstecker raus & wieder rein) kommt nur das Google TV und Android Logo und dann läuft Android.
Also was ist zu tun ?

PS ... was hat man davon wenn ich die BOX Flashe?
-gibt es was neues?
-Leistung?
- ... etc. ?
