'Interactive Watch Faces'-Update angekündigt

Google hat soeben ein neues Android Wear-Update angekündigt.

Wearing a watch lets you tell time with just a glance. Android Wear has expanded this at-a-glance experience to other useful info like your next meeting, daily step count, or messages. Today, we’re launching interactive watch faces, making it easier (and more fun) to stay connected, right from your wrist. Now, with just a tap, your watch face can change its design, reveal more information, or even launch a specific app.

Today’s updates are rolling out to all Android Wear watches in the coming weeks. So pick your favorite watch face, or pair up with your favorite person, and start wearing what you want.

Das Wear-Update ist schon da, aber das für die Moto noch nicht. Die neuen Watchfaces können installiert werden, aber die interaktiven Schaltflächen fuktionieren nicht.

Bei einigen Usern ist das Update jetzt verfügbar.

This Moto 360 software update is for all users. After installing the software update you will notice changes that include:

- Interactive Watch Faces
Interactive watch faces make it easier to stay connected. With just a tap on your watch face, you can change its design, reveal more information, or even launch a specific app.

You can download interactive watch faces from Play Store. To set up, touch and hold on the current watch face, then scroll left/right to select the one you just downloaded. You can also select it from the Android Wear phone app.

- Together Watch Face
Two Android Wear users can stay close throughout the day by turning their entire watch face into a space for sharing. Once you’ve paired your watch face with a partner’s, you’ll be able to share things like photos and emojis, and more.

To set up, touch and hold on the current watch face, then scroll left/right to find the Together watch face. You can also select it from the Android Wear phone app.

- Google Translate for Wear
Translate a conversation into any of the 44 available languages, then flip your wrist to show the translation to someone else. When they respond in their own language, flip your wrist back, and you’ll see in a translation of what they’ve just said. The watch must be connected to a phone with internet access via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

- Weather Microapp
Shows current weather conditions and four-day forecast for your current location. To open the weather microapp, swipe left on the watch face, then scroll down and tap Weather.

- Privacy improvement for notifications
Your notifications won’t show in full screen until the watch is oriented in a way that only you can see it. This feature prevents others from reading an incoming notification when your watch screen is pointed away from you.

- Bug Fixes
A variety of system optimizations to improve performance and stability.

Jup - ich könnte es über Autoupdate installieren, wenn der Akku voll wäre... mal schauen ob ich's heute noch durchziehe

Bei mir auch nicht. Evtl kennt der eingestellte Wetterprovider unsere Region nicht?

Jupp: Hab bei der Wetter App auch "Wetterdaten konnten nicht abgerufen werden."

Bezüglich der interaktiven Watchfaces hoffe ich, dass die meisten existierenden WF ein Update für die Interaktivität bekommen. Ich wollte mich so schnell eigentlich nicht von "minimal & elegant" trennen.

jap... wundert mich, dass nicht mal moto connect nen update bekommen hat.
die interaktiven WFs, die bisher angeboten werden, finde ich nicht so prall...

und die WF maker finde ich auch nicht wirklich schön, bzw. bekomme ich damit nichts schönes hin

Bei mir keine Probleme. Habe heute morgen das Update gemacht weil gestern Akku zu schwach war.

Stimmt... Wetter App geht nicht. Aber wusste gar nichtdas es die gibt. Bekomme die immer nur gepusht. Von daher egal.

Seit dem update funktioniert bei mir watchmaker nicht mehr, wird weder auf Uhr noch app angezeigt... Jemand ein ähnliches Problem?

stimmt. Ist mir noch gar nicht aufgefallen, da ich im Moment "Purist" benutze um Strom zu sparen. Das ist aber blöd, kann keine Faces mehr zur Uhr schicken. Was soll das denn?

Habs wieder zum laufen gebracht. Du musst in den Einstellungen auf "Zifferblatt ändern" gehen, dann durchscrollen, bis Watchmaker erscheint. Watchmaker dann auswählen. Schon kannst wieder Deine >Lieblings Faces auf die Moto schaufeln.

Bei mir geht es jetzt wieder.
