Shenzhen, China – October 12th – It has been said before that ZOPO's next flagship smartphone will be powered by the brand new deca-core Helio X20 SoC from MediaTek (that's 10 processors!) that is to be launched in December 2015. It has been said, and that is true. So having said that, let us take a look at what exactly makes the Helio X20 so special and why it will foster the begining of a new grand leap for the smartphone industry.
From the makers itself, here is what MediaTek has to say about their new shiny crown jewel:
"...the world's first mobile processor with Tri-Cluster™ CPU architecture and ten processing cores. Delivering extreme computing performance with unmatched power efficiency, the new Helio X20 processor is set to revolutionize the smartphone industry and address the growing global demand for flagship mobile devices.
Helio X20 provides three processor clusters, each designed to more efficiently handle different types of workloads. Much like adding gears to vehicles, dividing the cores into three clusters provides a more efficient allocation of tasks for optimum performance and extended battery life.
It can delegate simple tasks to one cluster of cores, while directing more-complex (and more-power-hungry) tasks to the other clusters. If the smartphone is doing only simple tasks - such as sending text messages or running the calculator - on one cluster, the other clusters can power down, and therefore drive smoother performance and extended battery life.

In other words, besides being extremely powerful and setting up new performance benchmarks, the Helio X20 is a masterful energy and task manager that promises to make the devices in which it will be employed to run smoother than any others before, while saving more battery life.
ZOPO pays very careful attention to the demands and comments of the community and its fans. One of the most common and widespread opinions about the most important elements that constitute a good smartphone, concerns performance and battery life. The Helio X20 taps into these issues in its most fundamental core design ideas.

Shenzhen, China – December 19th – In several previous occasions, we at ZOPO acknowledged that a new flagship smartphone with a deca-core CPU is in development. It will be revealed at a grand industry event, in early 2016.
But now we are here to talk about what will definitely not be introduced by ZOPO in the future...
When a smartphone company is developing a new device, a lot can happen in the process. Decisions concerning every aspect of the machine are made, then reshuffled, then reassigned, then fixed, and so one. It is not a linear process – it is a fast paced and always unpredictable one where every step of the way new ideas and proposals come up in order to adapt to the constantly evolving market trends and external developments. Having a plan is great, but adapting to change is absolutely imperative when developing something new that ultimately must please the public and consumers.
While technical hardware specifications are very important in a smartphone, we can't ignore the outer shell, the design. Before reaching the final design, the development team experiments a lot. Here you can get a glimpse of just a handful of some of the designs that were once considered and made into a dummy phone, but ultimately abandoned:

While we are unable to reveal the full extent of these abandoned experiments, this is still enough to show the general direction being taken by ZOPO. Feedback from our users and followers is very important for everyone at ZOPO. We are always listening. We also want to share more and be in contact with the community and allow it to peek into the development process. Hopefully we can get some helpful comments from this little piece.

Bin mal gespannt, was die dafür verlangen.
