iconiaN is a project I am starting to bring a unified stock rom to the A700 that will work on devices from all regions.
I will soon be making iconiaN a project on github in the next few weeks and will welcome contributions from you all.

About the rom:

• Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) - Based on latest RV16RC01.EMEA.DE (Will work on all A700's)
• Multi-Region support - Choose your region while flashing (Currently GB, US & DE)
• Fully working ROOT
• Unsecured boot.img
• BusyBox
• Zipaligned
• Fully de-odexed
• init.d scripts (BusyBox run-parts) support
• All /system applications updated to latest available
• Bloatware fully optional

You need:

• Jelly Bean Firmware/Bootloader
• Acer Iconia Tab A700 with an unlocked bootloader
• ClockworkMod Recovery - 6.0.1.5 or newer

How to flash:

• Download ROM and place it on your virtual (internal) SD card
• Boot your phone into ClockworkMod Recovery (via adb or with a key combo)
• In main menu, select "install zip from sdcard"
• Select "choose zip from sdcard" and browse to the location of iconiaN rom
• ONLY IF INSTALLING FROM ICS - Flash the jb-firmware-update.zip
• After flashing process is complete, reboot the device.

So, das Update auf 1.2 ist online

es läuft perfekt, einige Auswahlmöglichkeiten im Aroma.

sollte eig jeder draufmachen der nen gutes, sauberes schnelles Rom haben möchte!

Dann mal morgen erledigen klingt gut, dass die Acer apps wd gehen. Ich fand den Stock file Manager richtig cool

relativ hehe
aber ist ja geschmacks sache

nur aufpassen, es wird im system dann nicht das OS angezeigt, ist aber nit weiter schlimm...

dasselbe problem hat man auch wenn man das stock ROM als backup zurückflasht.
Image-version und Abbild P/N werden als unbekannt angezeigt.
Ich denke es ist eine irgendeine Erkennung da die Informationen auch garnicht in der build.prop zu finden sind.

Kann ich machen, muss ich mal tapa auf dem tab einrichten. Mit der Android Hilfe app finde ich das unter Forum nicht..

scheint so als hätte sich bei 2.2 ein fehler eingeschlichen.
Nach den flashen gerät der bootloader in ein bootloop und restartet das tablet ständig neu.

2.1 läuft jedoch fehlerfrei.

hats schon jemand probiert und dasselbe problem?

Gleiches Problem hier, nach dem Flash Bootloop.

Reflash 2.1 läuft wieder...

Hoffe Vorbeth kann das problem beheben.
iconiaN 2.2 wäre nämlich die ultimative ROM für mich wegen exFat support

NTFS würde mir im Prinzip schon reichen, hoffentlich bekommt er das noch hin, sonst ist meine 64 GB SD Karte nutzlos...

bei NTFS ist jedoch das problem dass schreibvorgänge wesentlich langsamer sind wegen dem journaling. deshalb ist exfat schon besser.
