PhilZ Touch ist eine Advanced Edition von CWM,dass alle Features von CWM hat, die man bisher vermisst hat.
Dieses Recovery unterstützt viele Geräte und wird ständig weiterentwickelt!!

PhilZ hat ein Full Touch Interface und ein voll einstellbares GUI Menü ( Farben, Hintergrund, Grösse des Textes uvm.). Außerdem hat Philz Touch eine Screenshot-Funktion und speichert die System-Backups mit dem Namen der ROM und der Version, die auch in der Telefoninfo steht und viele weitere nützliche Funktionen

Neu in Version 6: Smoothere Touchbedienung mit Kinetics, basic theme support, KitKat ready!

- Reboot Recovery

Installation mit Odin (.tar.md5-Datei)

- start odin3 and configure it as in picture below
- connect phone in download mode to PC via USB
- press start to flash the tar.md5 package
- normally, phone should auto-reboot into recovery.
If it reboots into android and your recovery remains stock, repeat above steps and untick "autoreboot" in odin. Once flash is done, keep pressing power button until it reboots (normally will go to recovery)
when in recovery, if you choose option "reboot system now" and you get "yes - disable flash recovery", select that option to avoid stock recovery overwriting cwm

Hallo, habe heute mein Note 2 bekommen und wollte mal an die erfahrenen fragen, ob sich ein Flash lohnt.
Hatte vorher ein LG 3D Max, da hab ich hin und her geflasht was das zeug hält aber dann doch verkauft weils scheiße is^^
Kenne noch nicht alle Funktionen des Note 2 und würde einmal was flashen und dann Ruhe haben wollen.
Hätte daher gerne gewusst, welche ROM am besten und am sichersten läuft und ob man unterschiede merkt, ob sich das lohnt halt.

Erstmal Glückwunsch zum neuen N2 wirst es nicht bereuen
Vor und Nachteile des Rooten sind denk ich mal Geräte übergreifend gleich
Ich hab meins seit ca 3 Monaten und hab am selben Tag eine andere Rom geflasht und Philz Cwm
Das N2 ist aber sicher auch ohne Root und Stock Leistungsfähig genug
Muß jeder selber entscheiden mit dem Philz Recovery ist man jedenfalls sehr gut bedient !
Schau mal im Rombereich gibt viele sehr gute Roms !

Vergleich fällt mir schwer weil zu selten Twrp nutze
Allso die Vorteile die dem Twrp nachgesagt werden ( beschriften der Backups , Themes , sicherer? ) sind denk ich lange überholt !
Man kann Hintergrundbilder einfügen Schriftgröße anpassen , Gui Farbeinstellungen , Screenshot + Video möglichmeit, Backups werden Automatisch mit Datum und Romnahme versehen , Möglichkeit eines EFS backup + Restor , Zip instalation ist sehr stabil und funktioniert zu 99% ( beim Trwp siehe manche instalations Anleitungen kann es je nach Twrp Version zu probs. Kommen ) ..........

Ich hatte beides und bin immer wieder zurück auf Philz.
Beide haben 0 Probleme mit Aroma und beide haben die gleichen Funktionen. Sie unterscheiden sich eigentlich nur in Sachen Oberfläche.
Der Grund wieso ich immer wieder zurück zu Philz will, ist dass es eine tolle FUnktion gibt, welche automatisch alles wiped und man nicht einzeln per Hand machen muss ( Wipe Cache, Dalvik Cache, Preload, Format System...). So habe ich mit einem Klick ein komplett sauberes System und kann eine Custom Rom flashen ohne Bugs oder Fehlern.

Die Backups werden in einem Ordner namens " Clockwordmod" gespeichert. Die kannst du dir auch zur sicherheit auch auf deinem PC ziehen um sicher zu gehen.

Wenn ich ein Backup mache mit 5.0.7 und später das Backup von 5.0.7 mit Philz 6.0.3.3 wieder restoren möchte, geht das? oder verweigert Philz das restoren von anderen Backupversionen wie beim TWRP??

@Quick ksnnst einfach bügeln auch die Gui Settings bleiben erhalten kannst aber zur Sicherheit auch die Recovery Settings speichern und wieder herstellen ( im Cwm) !
Keine sorge Backups von vorher bleiben voll funktionsfähig und Kompatibel !! Allso unter Cwm (6....) siehe edit twrp

gerade mal drauf gehauen und sieht ja Schnucki aus...Backup wird gerade gemacht und man sieht was er backuppt..schon mal cool!

TWRP Backups runter geschmissen, Ordner gelöscht und gefällt mir sehr gut.
Danke für Eure Tipps. Werde gleich mal checken wie es mit kopieren des Backups von internSD und externSD auf den PC aussieht.
