Flac-Support mit 2.1

Thanks for the links, but am I right to assume that this modification requires root access? Guess I should've rooted my Milestone when I had the chance (updating to 2.1)...

Maybe I'll check out the possibilities for rooting it retroactively... FLAC support is extremely tempting. Does it enable/support features like embedded album covers, ReplayGain and using FLAC files as ringtones?

You can easily root the 2.1 system by flashing the vulnerable recovery, I'm sure it's covered in this forum (UPDATE: yes, here it is in german: Recovery als .sbf flashen - root fuer 2.1 moeglich). Just flash the recovery only sbf I've assembled some time ago, then you can root the phone as before using the update.zip method. The system will stay intact by the flashing, only the recovery will become rootable.

The libraries have been updated again - the duration of a flac file is finally reported correctly by the mediascanner.
This also fixes the broken flac seeking in the bTunes player.

Hat das einmal jemand hier zum Laufen gekriegt? (2.36)
Leider klappts bei mir immer noch nicht - auch wenn ich händisch alle Dateien genau nach Anleitung installiere/ersetze und den Stein neu starte: Beim Abspielen kommt "Dieser Medientyp ... wird nicht erkannt".

(habe 2.36 rooted, kein geändertes Theme)

also mit der neusten version von nadlabak klappt das ohne probleme

Hmm... yo Wenn ich die Files direkt aus dem Dateimanageer (EF Filemanager) strarte funktionierts!

Wenn ich über Musik -> Interpreten -> Album -> Titel gehe kommt obige Meldung :/

Muss ich meine Alben neu indizieren lassen? Wie ginge denn das?
