Was ist OmniKang (OK):


OmniKang baut grundsätzlich auf der OmniROM auf, allerdings wurden sehr viele Features integriert, welche zum Teil von anderen ROMs portiert wurden und zum Teil selbst vom OmniKang Team geschrieben wurden. Diese Features sind meist (noch) nicht in den Builds der OmniROM enthalten.

Wie flashe ich OmniKang:

Flashen könnt ihr OmniKang ganz normal, wie ihr das auch mit z.B. der OmniROM macht. Eine Anleitung findet ihr hier: https://www.android-hilfe.de/forum/custom-roms-fuer-google-nexus-4.873/rom-kk-ktu84p-4-4-4-omnirom.504318.html

Wie bei der OmniROM gilt auch bei OmniKang: Es werden beim Update keine Apps, Daten oder Einstellungen gelöscht.

Muss ich einen Full Wipe vor dem Flashen machen:

Das kommt darauf an. Falls ihr von der OmniROM kommt, müsst ihr dies nicht zwingend machen, wenn ihr allerdings von anderen ROMs kommt, ist ein Full Wipe sehr empfehlenswert bis zwingend notwendig.

Wenn ihr von einem offiziellen OmniROM Build kommt, müsst ihr nichts wipen. Es bleiben alle Daten erhalten und auch beim Wechsel zurück zu offiziellen Builds wird nichts gelöscht. Ihr könnt also problemlos von der OmniROM auf OmniKang umsteigen und umgekehrt.

Wie kann ich Vorschläge einsenden?

Wenn ihr euch Features wünscht, die noch nicht in OmniKang vorhanden sind, könnt ihr uns einfach eine E-Mail mit dem Vorschlag an "feature (at) cyankang (punkt) de" schicken

OpenPDroid FAQ:


Was ist OpenPDroid:

PDroid (Privacy Droid) kann Apps Rechte entziehen. Z. B. könnt ihr damit Facebook verbieten auf eure Kontakte zu zugreifen. Im Vergleich zu LBE Privacy Guard läuft kein aktiver Dienst im Hintergrund der am Akku nuckelt. OpenPDroid ist im Gegensatz zu PDroid und PDroid 2.0 komplett OpenSource, d.h. auch die App ist OpenSource.

Wie kann ich Apps Rechte entziehen:

Dazu einfach die OpenPDroid App starten. Auf die entsprechende App in der angezeigten Liste klicken und der Rest sollte selbsterklärend sein. Ihr bekommt immer wenn eine App versucht, auf verbotene Rechte zu zugreifen einen Toast.​

Hey, finnq!
Finde es ganz toll dass deine Builds auch beim N4 dabei sind. Ich war beim S2 begeistert davon. Bin momentan noch auf AOKP unterwegs, habe aber schon daran gedacht mal CM10 zu testen. Nur, kann man denn die NavBar garnicht verändern, Farbe z.B, oder die Anzahl der Buttons? Wenn es möglich wäre dann wäre das perfekt. ;-)

[APP][4+] PDroid 2.0 - searching Themer - [2012-12-08 v1.52] - xda-developers das wäre mein nächster Patch gewesen.
Wenn du immer schon pdroid "reingepatched" hast, wirst das eh schon kennen, aber man kann ja auch etwas übersehen
ich freu mich das ich nicht mehr bauen muss.

Ich glaube es gibt genug.
Gerade ich finde die Navbar Höhe sehr schön umgesetzt, besser als AOKP. Dann noch Center Clock mit Wochentag und eine Batterybar in der Navbar wie bei AOKP und es gefällt mir^^

Die Kommentare sind aber alles andere als positiv, wobei die Pro ja ordentlich kostet. Wenn finnq Navbar Batterybar einbaut sehe ich diese ja auch beim zocken, deshalb wäre das ja ganz nice.

Finnq's aktueller ROM läuft bei mir leider nicht. Zwei mal geflash, mit und ohne Wipe, aber die Kiste bleibt immer im Bootloader hängen.
Liegts an mir, am Zip oder am ROM?
