Hilfe: Update crasht mein Milestone

I think that you are right.. Because I understood that I try to flash only service files (~80-90 Mb)
But Battery is low unfortunately.
So where can I find a full SBF? And how can I find the right one? I do not know which country is was bought from..
Can you provide a full SBF file? (I will try to charge battery by some ways..)

Hi,

In your PM to me you stated you flashed the "2.1 USA Milestone ROM".

Can you pls explain what you mean by that? Where are you located? What Version did your phone come in?

PS: As I stated in another thread, I basically have "resigned" from this hobby of ours. So I do not answer private messages anymore. However, given the fact you are not German-speaking, I will try to help.

You need to google-translate this page:
https://www.android-hilfe.de/forum/...-vor-flashen-mods-und-experimenten.21149.html

and then, regarding what to find, where etc:

https://www.android-hilfe.de/forum/...behebung-bei-brick-und-neu-flashen.17891.html

SHOLS_U2_02.31.0_UCASHLSMR2EMEAB1B805C.0R_PDS003_USASHLS00RTEU_P042_A005_HWp2a_1FF.sbf.gz

I flashed this one..
After flashing that rom, I got that error.
I live in Turkey.
But I got it from my friend, and I do not now where he purchased the device.

I sent the barcode information (serial imei or others) to your PM.

hard to say, as the milestone has not been launched "officially" in turkey yet. but the SW version you had tried to flash is the one I would recommend.

What i can advise you off - try to flash it with this file first.

https://rsddownload.motorola.com/do...0R_USASHLS00RTDACH_P001_A001_HWp2a_1FF.sbf.gz

Then check if you still get an error (i do not expect you will)

Then try flashing the
SHOLS_U2_02.31.0_UCASHLSMR2EMEAB1B805C.0R_PDS003_U SASHLS00RTEU_P042_A005_HWp2a_1FF.sbf.gz

again.

So I tried to flash:

Europe SHOLS_U2_02.31.0Europe SHOLS_U2_02.31.0 No/Rootable No/Simlocked 2.1 Version EA8AF36E B739C2BF481688C32E197BDAB1AC12F3

Europe SHOLS_U2_02.31.0 no no moto mirror EA8AF36E B739C2BF481688C32E197BDAB1AC12F3 BA3BC642CFD5EB981905BC5C49602BBF02516CDD

smethign went wrong in the flash process. thats why i recommend to go back to a propoer 2.0 (DACH) version, to cure the error you currently get, and then try it again with the
SHOLS_U2_02.31.0_UCASHLSMR2EMEAB1B805C.0R_PDS003_U SASHLS00RTEU_P042_A005_HWp2a_1FF.sbf.gz

So I will try,
Thanks man.

Now I am trying it. (the first 2.0 DACH)

happy flashing, make sure your battery is ok (50% or more)

I tried 2.0 DACH, (Not 2.1 yet)
But I still got same error.

Phoen rebooted, and Still same screen.

I use Windows 7 64 Bit.
RSD Lite 4.5.3.
Win 7 64 Bit USB Drivers.
Use Winrar to Unpack the SBF (gz or zip) file.
little inf: My milestone's keyboard "QWERTZ"

Although it says "PASS" on the RSD Lite, device starts in bootloader mode again.
I did not run RSDLite as Administrator, but I did not get error.

thats strange. your error
"Err:A5,69,35,00,21" is an "uncommon" error. Most errors with the recovery console are cured with a full 2.0 release. The fact that your didnt work makes we wonder.

Try this:
- download rsd lite 4.6
motorola_milestone:tools:rsd_lite [And Developers]
- update drivers
motorola_milestone:tools:usb_drivers [And Developers]

install new rsd lite and new drivers

THEN

-shut down phone
- Simulatenously press "D-PAD Up key from the hardware keyboard and the power button, this will start the booloader mode (should come up without your errors)
- connect USB cable
- start RSD lite with ADMIN rights
if you dont know how, you can use the command promt (CMD)
- then navigate to your RSD installation (c:/program files (x86)/Motorola/RSDLITE (or similar)
- put the 2.0 DACH file into the same directory, call it dach20.sbf (rename)
- from the command promt, execute

SDL.exe -f dach20.sbf -t 2

does that help?
  1. Handy an USB anschließen
  2. Handy ausschalten
  3. “Nach oben”-Taste (von Tastatur) beim Einschalten gedrückt halten (Bootloader erscheint, ohne Fehleranzeige)
  4. Im Windows (7) als Administrator anmelden und der Anleitung folgen

This RSDLite 4.6 does not detect my device..
I installed 4.5.0 Usb drivers also..

Edit: I will restart my computer and try again.

u sure? did you try it in booloader mode or normal (when connecting to RSD lite). also, make sure you have the latest 4.5 drivers 64-bit installed when using rsd lite 4.6

if that doesnt work, you could try this:

Config->DeviceID Options , try one of the two settings, restart of Rsd lite required after selecting one

Yes Installed RSD 4.6
Installed 64 bit USB 4.5 drivers
Can not detect device

Should I use 4.5.3 or older? Because they detect my device.

did you start it in the bootloader mode like i told you :) and did you try the 2 config options? did you try it with a different usb port (that triggers a reinstalling of your drivers)

and NO, 99% probability, your crash was caused by an 3 versions older RSD lite (thats my current view)

My Phone boots only bootloader, however, should I use your way to enter bootloader?
I tried 2 Device ID options.
I will now try other USB ports, I did not try another usb port.

Dpad UP is the right? of different key?

thats right :) cool, I will steal your gif if I may :)

Yes I did it, It started bootloader, no Err:XXX message on display, but RSD 4.6 still does not see my device. Should I try in this bootloader mode? (with RSD 4.5.3) I never tried such. (DPAD up + Power)
